MotoGP » MotoGP Star of the Year vote: 2nd

TwistedWrist29: I don't think Marquez raised the bar at all. Its not like he blitzed the field like Doohan, Rossi, or Stoner ever did. He lost to Lorenzo more than he won. So, I am not seeing this poll as other than a popularity contest and not a measure of the fastest rider. Marquez rode a great championship campaign...but he has yet to prove he is the FASTEST! Jorge rode a slower bike FASTER! Next year promises to be great.
Omg, which championship did you watched? Lorenzo rode his best year ever and MM was still better. Considering the level on the field, MM really raised the competition level. I fully disagree that the Yam is a slower bike, Honda and Yamaha are pretty even, each has it's advantages and disadvantages.

MotoGP » 'Little genius, big balls' - Spanish press talk Marquez MotoGP triumph

@TalentFan Breath man, breath... and now again, take a deep breath. Ok, now we cooled the head down a bit. Well, no matter how big JL and Yamaha fan you are, you have to give credit to Marc. It was his first season in Motogp and he was just fantastic. He deserved the title. Yes, Honda helps him, Honda might be a better bike(!? this is questionable) but there will always be a "better" bike. JL rode better than in any year in 2013 and he still lost. Both riders have 2 DNF's. I think the end result is pretty fair. Considering Marc's performance this year, I understand that you're worried. I think JL and Dani are also worried. ...because Marc will only get better.
