"And how did Nicky become a rookie crash magnet?"... very simple: He cannot go faster.

It may be bad luck, but this happens when you're in the middle of the pack.

After 4 Rounds I can already see the "melandri 2008" RELOADED. No miracle will happen.

Well why not? He surely can do it!!! Go JL! I would like to see a race where the winner will be decided on the last 2 corners!!!... and about 3 riders involved in the battle.

Pedrosa from the begin was "everywhere" on braking instead of a clear braking line, he almost lost the front a few times. Probably a bad tyre choise, it's a pity. Anyway confirmed againg his position as No 1. Honda rider and that is good :)

I don't agree with cem gur. I watch Lorenzo since it was racing in 250 with Pedrosa. At that time, you could see his talent. He does not crash a lot, what happened was a missfortune, maybe he is really pushing his luck beyond the limit ... so I find it strange that he crashed so many times in the last month. And about crashing... remember what Doohan said about Stoner 2 years ago? something like ... it's more easy to teach a FAST guy NOT to crash, than to teach a guy to go fast.

If Ducati does not solve their problems and if we exclude BAD LUCK (DNFs)... the title will be decided between Rossi, Lorenzo and Dani. Lorenzo this year was just fantastic... I have no words.

:) Pedrosa really starts to deliver results. I hope he keeps it the whole season this way. Also some improvments from Honda should boost this guy. Nicky looks somehow "pathetic" with his results... I consider it his last year by Repsol Honda.

Well a damaged engine means "end of the race". Period. So, would you prefere second place or a very high risk to DNF? He tried to keep up the pace and have up at the end. Overreving an engine damages it for sure, heats up too much, burns the oil, to much pressure in cilinders etc... and at 19000rpm I can't imagine at what pressure those engine parts are put. I'm not engine technician, I just know some basics... so maybe somebody else can give more details. DON'T try this at home (overreving car or bike)... you'll pay big money. About how many times they are using an engine, I really don't know. I don't think that too much although.

I agree with Jack for Nicky's point. Well it seems that the Honda goes well in Dani's hand, although they really have to bring the new engine or make some miracles to this one. Danni did a great race, to pity that he couldn't fight for the first place... but anyway he proved to be very mental. That is good for the champ, not good for the show. I'm a big fan of Dani and I think he had very little chances to win this race. That Yamaha worked damn well. It is clear that Yamaha is the one of the best balanced bike out there, good speed and good handling. But we'll see what comes, there aren't any "longer" straights in the champ...

I'm really sorry to see this for Lorenzo. I hope he gets better ASAP. And I'm more sorry that I see people here that "were" waiting for something like this. In my opinion races should be won on the track and not because someone's absence. And I don't whish accidents to any of the riders on the grill no matter how much I "dislike them".
