Im sorry but F1 is an absolute joke. With the ban on TC making the races a 'little' more interesting, I was just starting to get back into watching it again after being seduced by motorbike in the late 90's.
But for hamilton to only make up 3 places with one of the best cars on the grid is humiliating!!! How can it be fun to watch when there is (at best) 1 or 2 overtakes a race???
Danny prdrosa was fighting for 2nd in the british moto gp from 9th on the grid and lorenzo Got 6th from starting 17th!! And all this from a series that is widely thought of as being spoilt with the advent of traction control.

I realy hope for F1's sake that next years aero changes help. :?

Gammaman, agree with most of what you say. Apart from the fact that european won daytona this year..... :) What has age got to do with the fact of if he can ride fast??? There are plenty of guys that will never see the front row of grid, but colin gets there regulary. If he goes, then over half the field below him should go too! Without people like him, Rossi, hayden and dare i say it, Lorenzo, then moto gp would have no personality at all!! How many guys keep on watching for the press conference after the race/qualifying? If it was likes of just pedrosa and stoner with there mono tone PR bull then i would turn off everytime! :)

How about Barros? Remember him?! I personaly dont think Yamaha will let Nori go. He's synonymous with the brand now. We all thought the Yam would be the bike to beet at the start of the year with all the development its had.

Xaus, Laconi(or arguably Toseland) and Bostrom have all been Ducati second riders in recent years. Your point is? I think the problem in the last 3 years is that they have gone for nationality over talent, relying on Bayliss to get the trophies while hoping the young uns will learn and get faster. Lets face it though, he casts a pretty big shaddow! Also dont forget that bayliss will have a say of who is team mate will be. He wont want anyone too good in the same garage. He was said to have vetoed Hodgson and Biaggi(and i dont blame him!).

Its not that bayliss is way ahead of all the others, its a case that no one of them can mount a consistant challenge. Bayliss is having to work very hard for most of his wins and the races are great to watch! But its always against a different rider... Also why is it thought that when a rider falls off his rival is 'lucky'??? He isnt lucky!!!! He's the good one(at that time) for being able to ride at that speed and finnish there is no luck involved just skill!! Get real and gives these guys some credit!! If it was bad luck that a rider falls off then Xaus is the unluckiest rider ever and with little bit of good luck would have been a multiple world champ! Lol. :-o
