1003 agree.
30 disagree.
That's right... I did. Good of you to acknowledge that fact.
Anyone who can pull over 2 seconds a lap on world class opposition (in the wet) round a circuit he's never seen before, let alone ridden in the wet before can only be considered world class. Sorry but that's a fact. If it had stayed wet, he'd have whooped the lot of em by over 30 seconds, based on his lead at the point he came in for slicks... And that's not world class ? Like f**k its' not...

World Superbike grid taking shape
2 agree.

More importantly, what is going on with our last two BSB Champions, Byrne and Camier rather than someone who shouldn't be in WSBK and has never won anything in his life...

Official: Camier to Aprilia for Magny-Cours.
4 agree.
Loser ? Are you some sort of w**ker or what ? He's the only rider in history to have won the British 125, Supersport and Superbike titles, but according to you he's a loser because in his first two wildcard races against the worlds best superbike riders he didn't run away with 2 wins ?? You clueless pr!ck...

Byrne: The factory bikes are very strong
He's got to deliver the goods in the tests and on the day first. At 6ft5 (or whatever he is), Camier might struggle to fold himself in half and hide behind that little Aprilia fairing. Simoncelli isn't Camier's size and he looked like he was riding a little kids scooter on Sunday...

Byrne: The factory bikes are very strong
They may have curbed their ability to tune them, but that doesn't stop them churning out improved parts for the factory Dukes that nobody else can get their hands on until the next new version comes along. And even then you've got to buy them, so without a pot to p1ss in, Sterilgarda have gone backwards in terms of development (well stood still actually)...

Well maybe Haslam's squad actually had a pot to p1ss in for the bulk of the season and therefore the bike got some development. Shakey's squad had dropped Polita even before the season started, then lost Sterilgarda to Yamaha. Stiggy were running two men in WSBK for most of the season i.e. Rolfo, Zemke, Hopkins etc... Plus we all know what Ducati are like about protecting their beloved Xerox riders by making sure nobody else can have what they have, whereas there isn't actually a full-factory Honda squad (closest thing to that is Ten-Kate) so every chance Stigefelt has been able to get hold of upgrades throughout the season. Didn't Haslams bikes get new engines quite early on in the season ?

Of course he did a damn good job. To have held Spies and Rea off the way he did was superb even though they got past him in the end. I've been saying it all year but give him equal machinery (like he had at the 2008 Portimao test) and he'll mix it with them all day long. Roll on 2010...

Get rid of Biaggi and Nakano and get Vermeulen and Byrne on the prilla's.

Sterilgarda deny withdrawal rumours

Well he obviously wasn't was he... 'Dice'... Go speak to Whitham, Hayden, Walker, Wright and basically anyone else who knows what they are on about and they'll all tell you Byrne is class and is capable of far better than this year has yielded. People like Jamie Whitham and Colin Wright don't suffer fools gladly nor talk people up who don't deserve it, so why would all these respected experts be saying they feel Byrne would show his true ability on the factory Xerox if they didn't consider he was worthy of it ? You are the one who talks b011ocks mate...

Because its not the same bike you muppet. Have you not read any of the articles and threads on here ?? The bike has had naff all spent on it all year, so its essentially a bog standard bike that started the season at Phillip Island. Given that, Byrne has done extremely well to get the results he has so far. On a full Xerox machine he stomps Fabrizio into the dust and maybe even Haga. He should get a 3rd Xerox bike next year to prove that point.

Tardozzi won't want to give Shakey a 3rd Xerox bike in case he shows up his little lapdog Fabrizio. Which he most definitely would...
