That's right... I did. Good of you to acknowledge that fact.

Anyone who can pull over 2 seconds a lap on world class opposition (in the wet) round a circuit he's never seen before, let alone ridden in the wet before can only be considered world class. Sorry but that's a fact. If it had stayed wet, he'd have whooped the lot of em by over 30 seconds, based on his lead at the point he came in for slicks... And that's not world class ? Like f**k its' not...

insiders know do you ? What a ****. As for "He is only ever competitive when better riders have left the championship and when he is on a far superior bike" goes, how come he now has 25 BSB and 2 WSB race wins to his name (just behind Michael Rutter) ? He beat the entire WSB field twice in 2003 as a wildcarder on a non-factory Ducati, so where was his "superior machinery" then ? And how did he manage to dominantly win the 2003 BSB title with the likes of Reynolds, Kagayama etc.. etc.. in the field if he's only competitive when better riders have left the championship. You really do talk complete cr*p. Maybe you should swap the 'e' at the end of your name for a 'k' you clown.

Shut up and stop moaning Dice. If you don't like it - don't watch it. If you know so much, who IS in line for the Bayliss seat then ? Tardozzi was on record today on Eurosport saying publicly that he is very interested in Byrne for next year. There are others in the mix, but Byrne is right up there at the top of the shopping list. So how does that translate to your rubbish about not standing a chance ? If the seat is spoken for, how come there was no mention of it today by anybody on Eurosport ? Even the analyst in the Eurosport studio said that Xerox Ducati would be mad not to make a play for Byrne for 2009, and he didn't even mention anyone else. All of a sudden you know more than the...

Personally, I think Bayliss's seat (or at least a seat on a Factory Ducati in WSBK in '09) is well on the cards for Shakey next year. What will swing the balance further in his favour is good performances in the WSBK wildcard rounds up against Bayliss himself (and others... Haga, Corser, Fabrizio, Biaggi), plus further successes throughout the remainder of the BSB season. Imagine if he were able to get on the podium a few times as a wildcard at Donnington and Brands (maybe even beat Bayliss a couple of times, plus pick up a fair few more double-wins in BSB and end up taking the record for the most wins in a season. Surely then there'd be no argument whether he deserved a factory ride in '09?

Excellent. Keep up the good work Shakey (Get in there the Kent boys !!). Make sure there's nowhere else to look when they're replacing Bayliss for 2009 !!!

...- its about how many GP track races they have done, which is equal. What Byrne SAID in an interview means nothing. He may well feel he knows the place so well he could ride it with his eyes shut but then the same could be said of Bayliss, seeing as he's raced the GP track as often as Byrne, and seeing as WSBK goes to Brands GP every year without fail. There's probably a track common to both WSBK & MotoGP that is on the WSBK calendar every year (maybe Assen) that Bayliss will have visited the most, but I'd say that Brands GP must definitely be up there with Phillip Island as two of the tracks Bayliss has raced the most. Maybe you should do a bit more thinking before hitting the keys pal.

Yama-****, I've already worked out how many times Shane Byrne has ridden around Brands Hatch GP on Superbike Spec machinery, which is all that is relevant when comparing his track knowledge to Bayliss. You can't count the BSB visits to the 'Indy' circuit as that is only half of the track and a completely different layout, different fuel load, different number of laps, different number of left v right handed corners - so different tyre performance. Bayliss (like most of the top boys) is highly adept at learning circuits quickly. The fact that Byrne may have perhaps done a handful of track days there or something like that in the past on road-spec bikes doesn't have any bearing on anything...

OK 'Big Man', you have the last word - that's obviously what you're looking for. Criticising someones techical understanding whom you've never even so much as exchanged two words with on here obviously doesn't constitute rudeness or ignorance in your world. Your screen name fits your ego perfectly.

Big Man, I wasn't suggesting Haslam's bike was the same as Checa's, you p***k. I know there are differences, but there aren't that many differences, else wildcarders would end up in a different postal district, come the end of a race. My point was that from a development perspective, there must be information that Honda can share with HMPlant to assist their progress.
