That's right... I did. Good of you to acknowledge that fact.
Anyone who can pull over 2 seconds a lap on world class opposition (in the wet) round a circuit he's never seen before, let alone ridden in the wet before can only be considered world class. Sorry but that's a fact. If it had stayed wet, he'd have whooped the lot of em by over 30 seconds, based on his lead at the point he came in for slicks... And that's not world class ? Like f**k its' not...

Frustrated Byrne 'looking on bright side'
Too dark for any more lawn analysis now so I guess I have no choice by to 'analyse' your inane whining about something you can't infact influence anyway Dale. He's with Borcianni for at least the rest of the season like it or lump it pal. So... lets just assume for one minute your observations of him are in some way correct and he's just (ha !! just... - I wish I could ride a bike even half as good as him on a bad day) a mid pack runner and won't amount to anything more, and deserves to be punted back to BSB or over to AMA to be 'found out' after one season, right ? Where exactly then does that leave almost 90% of the riders who have graced the tracks of World Superbikes over the last...

Frustrated Byrne 'looking on bright side'

Oh and just one thing... Haga's injuries, Checa and Haslam falling and Hacking taking out Parkes had no bearing on Byrne getting past 9 other riders in both races did it ? As the man said, his overall race pace was up there. Is he really likely to storm straight to the front of the field at a track he's never seen before ? Nothing wrong with his qualifying speed was there ? Do you think he suddenly forgets how to ride fast from the end of Superpole on Saturday to when the lights go green on Sunday ? Or maybe he prefers to ride around in tenth place and just thinks 'f**k Borcianni and his 1.2m Euros...' Bye...

Yawn. I see Dopey Dale's piped up again. Great. I'll think on that note I'll go and count how many blades of grass there are in my lawn. Be a sight more interesting than reading any more of his bo11ocks. Bye...

childish insults at World-class riders (and if he wasn't he wouldn't be working for Ducati now would he ?) is quite frankly laughable.

Nothing of the sort 'fanboy'. I'm merely able to see the situation for what it is and distinguish the obvious facts rather than resorting to childish playground mickey taking of one of this countrys top Superbike riders of the last 10 years or so. All those riders out there yesterday have more ability in riding 1000cc motorcycles to the limit in their little finger than either you or most other people who post on this site could ever dream of having. The difference in their abilities is almost not worth measuring. It comes down to... luck, money, age, track / race experience, setup capabilities, and the mechanics ability to translate words into spanner work. So hurling...

the factory Dukes than it was last year. Sterilgarda are struggling - can you not see that ? Why do you think they haven't replaced Polita or even re-signed him ? He can't have been that dear to sign yet they don't even have the money for a Superstock rider ket alone an established WSBK name. He's riding the wheels off the thing to try to compensate for the lack of pace and inevitably making the odd mistake. How many other riders overtook 9 people at any point in race 1 or 2 who aren't on factory or semi-factory machinery ? Not many.

Fanboy, you talk as though Byrne has personally caused you some kind of hardship or suffering ? Did you actually watch the races ? Byrne qualified as top Brit and top circuit rookie in 6th on the grid at a pretty inhospitable place - Sykes on the same bike as Spies was 22nd for christs sake and he normally learns tracks quickly. Loads of riders crashed out, whereas Byrnes race pace was excellent on a bike that appears to be further this year from...

Thruxton - Race results (1)
Get in there Ellison 'ma boy !! That plus Mason in 9th'll do my MCN fantasy team nicely, as well as having Spies on pole and probably winning both races, plus Lorenzo on pole in MotoGP AND Melandri going well in the wet. Just Haslam out in Utah that is lagging behind. Nice little haul of points. I thank you...

Why didn't Byrne go out in Q2 ? Or did he and crashed ?(or the bike blew up more likely - piece of cr4p) His Q1 time was 1.50.512 and his recorded Q2 time was 1.50.512. Looks to me like he didn't go out ?
