That's right... I did. Good of you to acknowledge that fact.

Anyone who can pull over 2 seconds a lap on world class opposition (in the wet) round a circuit he's never seen before, let alone ridden in the wet before can only be considered world class. Sorry but that's a fact. If it had stayed wet, he'd have whooped the lot of em by over 30 seconds, based on his lead at the point he came in for slicks... And that's not world class ? Like f**k its' not...

I'm not getting excited about anything. I'm pointing out that all the comments from the Byrne-knockers are unjustified as he is proving he isn't out of his depth. Even if he is mid pack come the races, the qualifying in the 2 sessions so far stands alone in its own right to prove that as a rider of race tracks on a superbike, Shane Byrne is not out of his depth in WSBK...!!

Guilty conscience FooAtari ? I don't recall mentioning any names... And no, I'm not waiting until the races (well obviously I am, like everyone else is) but to be top Ducati in FP1 round a circuit he's never seen before, when the factory riders have, and then to maintain 6th or 7th fastest and be 7/10s behind Spies in Q1 who knows the place like the back of his hand and must be itching to stuff the whole field in every session to prove that, stands as testament to the fact that Byrne IS NOT out of his depth in WSBK. Where's Rea, Sykes, Haslam and Hill ? Nowhere. You can't tell me those three young lads, most of whom are racing in the USA for the first time weren't trying their hardest to

Look how out of his league Shane Byrne is again in 7th, 7/10ths slower than Spies and Biaggi at another circuit he's never seen. You f**king bunch of Brit-knocking ar5eh0les.... Stick that in yer pipe and smoke it...

Biaggi's comment that Haslams bike can't hold a torch to Ten Kate's bike ? How would he know - he couldn't hold Leon off in Race 2 at Kyalami let alone get past Rea on the Ten Kate bike. Biaggi should hang it up and get his pipe and slippers out. Make way for Crutchlow, Camier and Ellison next year Maxy boy...

Not the best of weeks for French Superbike riders really. Nor for anyone in the MCN Fantasy Road Race competition with Laconi or Guintoli either :?. Thankfully not me... I had Ellison from day 1 :p

inside Mcelnae's squad. At the end of the day, if you ain't getting paid then that's a contractual dispute above anything else, especially if the other 3 or 4 riders are, and I can't believe Walker would stick around and not be paid somehow either. Get him on the Guintoli bike and see how he goes on that. Valentine should know him well from the TT already.

Eh..? How does that work then ? 'It was mainly down to me not being in the right frame of mind'... but then goes on to say 'I'm used to being spoilt and having 3 or 4 mechanics' plus 'I wasn't being paid when I was told I would be'. That sounds more like contractual breaches and team organisation / garage setup issues than anything to do with being in the wrong frame of mind. A professional racer who has been around as long as Rutter has and makes his living racing bikes at the top level of domestic UK racing can't just quit because he's 'not in the mood' this week. Smacks to me of Rutter being ever the 'nice guy' and being politically correct rather than fully open about the issues....

In fact GSE need to get their ****s up to WSBK again cos they clearly aren't being fully challenged in BSB. Winning almost every year isn't proving anything anymore. Bring back the days of the Orange 998's with Walker, Hodgson and Toseland in WSBK !!!
