Giancarlo is absolutely right, just as Bernie has said before. But maybe Massa is about on a par with Shamilton at best and Alonso slightly ahead, the pecking order is probably like this: Raikkinen, Kubica, Alonso, Shamilton, Massa.

Another claim by Shamilton that he won't be able to keep to! Silverstone is a Ferrari track and Kimi always seems strong there so expect a Kimi victory, maybe Sham can make the podium like last year but a race win he needs luck much like Massa this time!

Bernie talks absolute sense there! Kubica has been the quickest this year now doubt about that and Alonso is probably still the best all rounder like he has been in 2006 and 2007. But in the end Kimi and Ferrari will probably still take the title.

Danica Patrick racing alongside Jenson Button? If that's the case then Jenson would beat her hands down easily.

And Shamilton wouldnt be in F1 if it wasn't for Ron Dennis's help through out his early career! It's that simple. Alonso is right, and expect more firework at the French GP when we will see Alonso come into contact with Sham somewhere in the race!

I don't like Ron Dennis and his team, especially the way he treated Alonso last year, remember he said in china: "Basically we were racing Fernando" lol. But I have to say he has a point about this and some of the comments on here are far from the truth, if Mclaren now entered Le Mans with a Mercedes engine they would probably win with Shamilton, Kovy and De La Rosa driving their lead car and another 2 car for support and insurance. But if Audi or Peugeot entered F1 they probably wouldn't even win a race in ye**** Look how long it took BMW and Honda! BMW won Le Mans in 1999 at its 2nd attempt.

Erm has he seen the pace of the Peugeot? 5 seconds a lap quicker will be a mountain to climb for Audi! Especially when there are 3 Peugeots!

I bet Fernando Alonso might have something to say about that!

Agree with red also agree with ghost! The track breaking up played a big role in Ferrari or Kubica not getting pole. The higher fuel load and graining of the hard tyres on the first 10 laps of Raikkonen and Kubica allowed Shamilton to get a 6 sec lead but from then on they were hauling him back and Raikkonen would of been even closer if it wasn't for the BMW blocking him. When Sham lost the lead in the pits I think Raikkonen was the favourite to take the race, Grumpy doctor had no idea what he's talking about!

What we need is Alonso in this BMW! It would really spice things up then. No 1 is doubting Heidfeld's ability because he is a decent driver but at the moment Kubica is out performing Nick.

BMW should draft in Alonso and replace Nick! Alonso is so fast in the dog of a car Renault at the moment that if he was in the BMW this year he would be fighting for the title along with Kubica! Alonso should definietly go to BMW next season with Coulthard going to Renault along with Heidfeld.
