RECOMMENDED COMMENT
80 agree.

well, well, well...
Ferrari win again with the help of the FIA.
But of course there is no concerted effort to make sure Ferrari win the championship. And of course the theory that the FIA don''t want to see a black man be World Champion is totally ludicrous.
Sure!

Rossi: I've made my mistake.
1 agrees.
A1 and Greg, i agree with you i wouldn't want all the riders to be as extrovert as VR or all as introverted as say DP. The mix is what makes it good. People on here criticise VR for being a "clown" or CS for being "Outspoken" but we need theses characters in the sport. that's what i was trying to say. on another point... why are we talking about what riders did um-teen years ago?? i don't care how many titles CS or VR or anyone won when they were 10!! or if they won in 125, 250... who cares??? what matters is what they're doing NOW in MGP.

Alonso: Hamilton unlucky in F1 this year.
2 agree.
again, all this is supposition, not PROOF!!! Mahesh, do you have proof that HK is developing the car for LH??? errr... NO because again your bias has no factual basis but you write as if it's fact. I think both FA & LH had a good season considering they only lost WC by 2 and 1 point respectively, but Kimi just beat them both... that's life sometimes you try your best but you don't succeed. FA's an excellent driver and former WC, LH is good driver and potential WC, but neither of them was good enough or consistent enough to win it. those are the facts. i haven't heard that quote chu chu and don't know the context... please tell me when it was said and in what context it was said.

btw, instead of just calling me an FA hater, i do freely admit to not liking the guy but i don't hate anyone, can you provide PROOF that the McL team were sabotaging FA's car??? because the FIA scrutineers sure as hell didn't find any proof. RD and FA had a falling out, that's common knowledge and as it takes two people to have an argument there's blame on BOTH sides.

don't you just love conspiracy theorists??? as well as McL sabotaging FA's world championship... man didn't land on the moon, it was mocked-up in a hollywood studio... JFK was shot by the CIA to ovoid his affair with Marilyn Monroe becoming public... and the bodies of the roswell aliens are kept in a special underground facility under Area 51, the government are hiding the truth because they don't want us to panic.

Raikkonen: Bad, but could have been worse…
Geno... you are spot on mate. the choice of strategy is made by both the driver and the team so when it goes wrong you can't say one or the other is at fault... it's a joint decision. the facts are people on here have their own agenda's as to why they don't like LH and they look for any opportunity to criticise the guy no matter if he's really to blame or not. as for kimi and Ferrari's race strategy... i know teams gamble sometimes but every man and his dog knew it was going to rain again so how they can say they were hoping for the conditions to IMPROVE sounds crazy to me. we'll never know but i would love to know what Kimi's reaction was when they were discussing this strategy.

F1 'won't come back' to Silverstone.

totally selfish attitude f1 fan. as fans of f1 we should do our best to protect all the european gp's. europe is the home of f1, we have the heritage and the history. if we don't fight to keep our european gp's the dwarf will cart f1 away to the middle east where they race in the sand in front of empty grandstands. from you post f1 fan i guess you are not english... you don't live in Dubai by any chance do you???

Chu, because FA performance fell below par doesn't PROVE that McL were sabotaging him as you suggest. Stop stating your opinion as if its proven fact, because no matter how many times you repeat it don't make it so. The criticism of FA during the spying scandal resulted from the fact that LH came out publicly in support of the team and attended the FIA disciplinary hearings, meanwhile FA said nothing in support of the team and was conspicuous by his absence. IMHO that showed a lack of loyalty to his employer and colleagues. remember the FIA were out for McL blood at the time. if their scrutineers suspected that McL were sabotaging FA don't you think they would of nailed McL to the wall?

how long do you think it would be before the sport died if all the riders took that attitude?? characters are what makes the sport interesting to watch, stir peoples emotions and get young kids interested in wanting to try the sport. if we had 16 robot like riders going round tracks for half the year nobody would give a damn about the result. we would have no 'new blood' coming through the ranks because we would have no idols for the young kids to look up to. like him or not VR has done a lot for MGP over the years to raise its profile and get people interested in the sport. so did WR and KS in their day.

i've read articles in the past were DP freely admits he doesn't like racing with other riders in close proximity to him on the track. So his strategy is always get to the front as quick as possible and run away to the flag. I think the challenge for CS in the years to come will be to repeat his current success with another manufacturer, similar to what VR has done. When /If he can do that then he will silence all the doubters and prove that he's not only a good GP rider and i happen to think he is a very good GP rider, but a great MGP rider. to the guy who was talking about the riders only job is to win races and not to promote or bring fun to the sport...

if only it were so Lucifer. the government we have at the moment does nothing to promote sport of any kind in this country. it's a national disgrace. Do you know how we support our sports people in this country?? With money from the National Lotto Game!!! So the government doesn't contribute anything, they're too busy bombing middle eastern countries to secure oil reserves, and putting our armed service personnel in harms way with inadequate equipment. the sooner people wake up to whats going on in this country the better. ok...rant over..
