i'll be very disappointed if FA goes to ferrari. i like ferrari, i like their history and i've worked with them and they're a class organisation. FA is a brilliant driver, but as i've often posted before as a human being he leaves a lot to be desired. to say he doesn't have a big ego and questionable ethics is ludicrous. it's plain to see if you take the alonso tinted specs off for long enough. i know all you fanboys want to chomp on his nuts... but come on. and for fan1 to say it was LH who caused all the trouble last season... who was supporting McL at all the hearings last season when FA was sulking back at his spanish villa because he wasn't getting preferential treatment???

why would aprilia want to show their hand and reveal their lap-times??? best thing to do is keep quiet and then surprise everyone during official testing at the start of next season. the V-4 engine sounds like it could be a fantastic motor. if they use the "long bang" configuration Duc are using in MotoGP it could wipe the floor with the competition with the right development and electronics. i wonder how much the road going version will cost?? Road legal 1000cc V4... BRING IT ON!!!

he's a very lucky guy he didn't end up on the racing line after his spin. in that reduced visibility it could have been total carnage. the on-board shots were incredible weren't they. you really got the true feeling of speed when the other cars just went past in the blink of an eye. sometimes when you watch it on tv you don't really get that sense of just how fast a f1 car moves... and stops.

i get your point ace regarding MM, i think he's mentally broken now and nothing will solve the problem now. we'll have to wait and see what happens but if SG is giving similar feedback to NC and CS and Duc are using it we should see SG improve over the second half of the season... unless they have already decided to 'taylor' the bike specifically to CS which i believe is a bad move. IMHO, from a marketing standpoint, it doesn't look good when only 1 bike out of 4 is competitive. it doesn't give the impression that the Duc is the "best" bike, just that they have 1 fantastic rider out of 4.
