F1 » Silverstone ‘all about the team’ for Rosberg

richard: i wonder if this means that when he gets the coded message to "save fuel" or to "save brakes" etc, to allow lulu to catch up, he will acquiesce?
It all depends on what Nico means by "team", Lewis' "team" means something entirely different and there can be only one that really matters in that "team" work. So, no at this stage there can be no acquiescing. They are both hungry. One doesn't want to be known a a one hit wonder all his career, and the other desperately wants to walk in his own shoes not his fathers, and also wants to prove it by growing a mustache.

F1 » Lowe: Silverstone will test limits of Mercedes aero

richard, the FIA and their rules reminds me of an incident in Beirut, many years ago where a politician imported a container of fire extinguishers, a law was then passed that all cars have to be equipped with a fire extinguisher, people were getting stopped to see that they complied with the new law "rule", after all the units were sold, the authorities didn't care any longer if you have a fire extinguisher or not.

F1 » HAVE YOUR SAY: Standing start restarts in F1?

George Zaidan:
rob01: F1 Nascar is what you have now. By 16 you will buy most parts off the shelf and there will be a common front and rear wing.
bah humbug, I think the F1 is moving towards drivers racing in simulators
Remember to fit a coin operation to the simulators for the pay-drivers :p Chiltons bag of 14 million pound coins will be pretty heavy. Still he'll save a few quid since he does three less laps.
ROTFLMAO Taz. (have to save this)
