F1 » Mercedes summoned to stewards, Hamilton win provisional

George Zaidan: like the pit said: don't ask questions... they knew that they've been caught.
Did you see Niki pretending he knew nothing about it after the race? My respect for him has continually diminished since he got involved with this lot.
Sad really. The only thing I can think that would make Mercedes cheat is that they must have over read Ferrari's pace and had Rosberg written off. Winning every race is now an obsession with them.

F1 » Mercedes summoned to stewards, Hamilton win provisional

Taipan: Apparently Lulu's left rear was 0.3psi under the stated requirement at the start and Rosberg's was 1.1psi under. GP2 drivers have been disqualified for similar infractions this weekend.
well that is most odd! if the tyres were under inflated at the start, and then they changed tyres, then why was lulu told to speed up on the second set of tyres? were these also underflated? if so, it would seem that there was deliberate intent. underflation provides more grip, therefore it is a performance advantage, apart from a safety issue.
like the pit said: don't ask questions... they knew that they've been caught.

F1 » Mercedes rubbish tyre pressure conspiracy theories

One thing for sure Mercedes has proven time and time again they are above the law. Even Williams has come out for Mercedes to be disqualified, they broke safety rules. Remember that Lewis before the race said raising tire pressure will jeopardize the race, I did agree but you just don't go breaking rules you don't agree with.

F1 » Renault decision due in ‘next two weeks’

In other news: Mercedes rules out supplying engines to Red Bull because it's not in Mercedes' best interest. There is nothing to be gained doing so after all the efforts they've put in developing their engine just to give them away to be challenged. Red Bull said recently Ferrari was out of the question... but that leaves only Ferrari since they are about to burn their only bridge. On another note: Remember when Niki Lauda said he didn't care if Renault or Honda pulls out? Mercedes was ready to supply 20 engines to the whole F1 grid? For more fun and laughter tune in to F1 where every day is a surprise even when it comes to the rules and regulations or as some might say, especially when it comes to rules and regulations.
