F1 » Vettel marks Ferrari F1 debut with top time

107SS2009: George, You have spend the best part of yesterday wasting your time while giving these here Lulu oneeyedfanboys scope to vent their frustration. Just watch and let them be. Inside the first hour today the 2nd day and he is already seven tenths faster than his own benchmark from yesterday, and still faster next time round at 1min 21.0584sec. As I said, let them go and enjoy watching testing times.
You're right Richard, not only are they lulu fans but also Dan's fans. Imagine the glee if Dan at topped the charts. They don't seem to realize that this year's testing/car is a direct progression from last year.

well guys all I've said was that Ferrari today is not the Ferrari of last year as we can all see, the car and driver performed well over anyone's expectations as attested to the thumbs down on any mention of the word Vettel or champ. If you also believe the test today does not reflect the capability of the Ferrari car that is of course your opinion and you are entitled to it. I also said that Ferrari has the speed now they have to work on the reliability. was that a wrong statement? whatever enjoy using that finger to hit the thumbs down button, all that shows is how many people are going to be red-faced at the end of the season.

anyone that thinks Ferrari will be slow again this year hasn't been paying attention. Ferrari has a passion for winning and they pull no stops in archiving what they want, this is not last year, last year was totally new to all teams where some got it right and some got it totally wrong, to think that Ferrari hasn't learned is going to be a big mistake. Someone said that Mercedes has not shown what they can do, well how about Ferrari didn't show all they can do especially when Vettel shaved off time every time he got back on track with under 50 or so lap?

Chris1976: @George If I hadn't seen you(read your posts) before, I would assume that this was your first year following the sport. Now I do know that you are not new to the sport which makes me really puzzled over your conviction that Ferrari is THAT good this year. How can you possibly know that? It is only a guessing game and pure speculations so far. I am not saying that they are not in good shape this year, they might actually dominate the grid, who knows.. Everyone that has followed the sport for a while should know that no teams are going for lap times on the first day of the first test. Making sure that everything works as they should is what they are doing. If any team were pushing they would be well in the 1m20s, and probably even below(or do you say above?). Lets hope all teams are on top of the reliability this year.
I suppose your speculation is better than my speculation. maybe it's just my English, who knows?
