F1 » de Silvestro not convinced by all-female racing series

This is all Bernie's proposal and he hasn't thought things thru. Firstly he keeps pushing the F1 to Asia particularly to the Middle East where they frown on women driving, secondly the rich Arabs are going to frown on such proposals, thirdly if venues like Germany and Italy are in jeopardy who the hell is going to pay for his adventure? If women want to race they can race with the men which will bring in new interest to see if a girl can whip a man in their own game. I say bring it on men and women in the same races.

F1 » Hamilton: We showed Mercedes is still best

Tesla: F1 looking dull and boring, sorry guys to be candid. This is really bothering me. Anyway, Valentino Rossi showed why he is the best. So, MotoGP is there to enjoy and have loads of racing fun :)
most of your posts are about how MotoGP rocks and is better than the F1, are you the MotoGP spokesman? If you hate the F1 so much why don't you just stay away, we are all grown ups and we can decide what we want to watch. It doesn't have to be a choice, idiots tend to make others want to make choices when a person can enjoy 100% of both instead of just 50%.

F1 » Hamilton contract delay not down to #1 status bid

probably wants to be the highest paid Formula 1 driver and Ferrari can give him that, after all he can even wait until his contract runs out and see if Kimi will be retained... then he shoots himself in the foot because then he'll have no where else to go that will pay him that much if Ferrari keeps Kimi. Mercedes will then tell him to take it or leave it. Sounds like an Alonso 2.0 screw up.

F1 » Hamilton pulls clear with dominant Bahrain win

bonecrasher:
George Zaidan: It’s not a conspiracy it’s a fact, whomever among the Mercedes team mates gets pole gets to keep the lead. If Rosberg had brake problems as the radio said why was he able to take it to Vettel and not his team mate? That move on Vettel just before the pit lane was very dangerous, if Vettel had decided to hold position, the car coming out of pits would have been hit, and there was simply no room for Vettel, Rosberg and the other car. This arrangement Mercedes has about pole and holding is simply rubbish, the race just started and Rosberg was only 3 seconds behind.
Yeah, sure Boy George, that is why Merc pitted Rosberg first and allowed a 5 second gap to be undercut to 0 for Lewis. As for the overtake it was Vettel at fault for pushing and squeezing Rosberg in a rather overzealous manner.
nonsense on both counts, Vettel avoided a crash and lost position, Rosberg should have been penalized... but you see only w

F1 » Arrivabene teasing contract to spur Raikkonen on

the question is how bad does Kimi want to keep his seat? there is always someone waiting in the wings and now more than the last few years. Richard is right, sometimes a good airing of the laundry does wonders. But I suspect it is all in fun, some folks do not know how to show their affection. "Seb is a strong guy, very committed, whereas Kimi needs to feel the support of the team around him, especially the support of the team principal. "In Malaysia I spoke with him after practice - and he knows me, we have known each other for many, many years. "I said 'Kimi, if you are attacking for nothing, expect me to react'. Kimi likes this kind of relationship, where you talk straight to his face. "He's called 'The Iceman', but actually there is part of the Iceman who needs you to...not massage because he is quite strong, but is very sensitive. "If he feels the team is around him and is pushing for him as it is pushing for Seb, then Kimi can give us very good results.
