F1 » Hamilton: It was my mistake

excerpt from Rosberg interview “But what made it was the last sector. Everywhere the track was just a bit slower, damp here and there. But I knew I had lost four seconds on the previous lap and even if I was slower than that last lap I still had a chance to go a lot quicker in the last few corners if it was halfway dry and that is the way it turned out. I just made up the time in those last three corners as it was a lot drier. It worked out perfectly.”

F1 » Hamilton: It was my mistake

TH: Can someone explain the tactical advantage he thought he would have by aborting his lap and not pushing to the line? Thanks
no tactical advantage, I believe when Rosberg made a request to the pit wall for Hamilton to either go fast or move out of his way, he was in a state of anger and sulking and lost all sense of reasoning.

F1 » Rosberg takes pole as Hamilton falters

richard: bob. yes there was certainly skill shown. all cars were out at the same time, so all had equal opportunity. watching vettels run, the car was rarely in a straight line, yet he still managed a fantastic time. nicos run was certainly smoother, but he was being held up (deliberately?) by his teammate, but still managed a great time
ProfessorX made a comment yesterday about fast drivers holding up others, I see it now LOL,
