F1 » Button will race with McLaren in 2016, says Dennis

"I'm not going to condone those sorts of things because it doesn't show the professionalism that I would like our drivers to show," Dennis said. "He's in the car, he's frustrated and of course his exposure is to the technical staff, but it was not a particularly constructive way to communicate with everyone at Honda. (Ron Dennis on Alonso's Japan F1 radio outburst). Looks like Ron Dennis is trying really hard to keep at least one driver, at least one driver knows how to add a clause in his contract when he is in demand and knows how to pull the strings. Button on the other hand would have taken the job any way he could.

F1 » Hamilton brings ‘A game’ to equal Senna

bazza1: @ george Z. I can see you are new to F1. RB6 was the best car on the grid and if Vettel had not had so many off's he would have won the 2010 WDC by a mile hence he got the name crash kids from Martin Whitmarsh. In 2011 the Red Bull 7 was the class car of the field along with Vettel improving from a top racer into a world class racer and it was only Hamiltom , Alonso, and Button in a Non RB7 who could beat Vettel in lessor cars showing that even with Vettels car greater pace over 1 lap he was still beaten. The RB8 was the best car on the grid did not have straight speed as the Mclaren but Newey had the aero advantage but Lewis was still able to win races with lessor cars than Vettel same with the RB9.

F1 » Alonso clarifies comments, reaffirms commitment

Ahead of the 2009 race in Suzuka, Alonso told reporters, “Hopefully I can continue as long as I want and I can finish my career here [at Ferrari] with a lot of wins.” “I really think that Ferrari will be my last team, as I said, leaving Ferrari to change teams is a step backwards. Ferrari is more than a team and I want to finish my career there.” “It will obviously not be easy and I would like to do the same as Michael, by winning many championships, but I think that it will be very difficult,” Alonso said. “I will go there to be in the best team possible for my career and Ferrari and I share many things together, such as the passion for competition and to give 100 per cent every race. I think that this is the best destination of my career.”

F1 » Dennis rebukes Alonso over ‘unprofessional’ race comments

cartfan88: Well to be fair it's not a professional engine he's got. It's like one some university students cobbled together. If I was Alonso I'd exit F1 and go find somewhere to actually race.
There's one problem. He has a "contract" and I don't think Ron is going to let him out of it. I know hindsight is 20/20 but, what he should've done was behave himself and stayed at Ferrari. I bet he wishes he could do it all over again.
Wanna bet Alonso has a clause to get him out of his contract?
