F1 » Hamilton ‘always learning lessons’

George Zaidan: Lewis may be learning something, the problem is that his fans don't seem to learn anything, they keep seeing this invincible greatest driver of all time that is supposed to win every race and incapable of doing anything wrong.
Most of Lulu's fans only started watching F1 in 2007 and just jumped on the bandwagon so don't be surprised. I say most because there are a few true fans of his
I did something similar on an earlier thread. On this occasion post race it was actually the fans causing the embarrassment and not their driver with their whinging to the three stooges at Sky F1.
agree Taz, the friggin' british press box are the worse, they think hamilton is a god beyond reproach.

F1 » Horner slams Renault failings

richard: smp. yes, there have been a number of times when seb has lost his kers, yet drove around the problems and won races. but if you watched the races where seb had problems this year, such as yesterday, how could anyone drive around a total power loss? but as i pointed out, he actually tried to solve the problem himself,, did so and continued racing. after 5 great years in f1, it was only a matter of time that he suffered some bad luck, and that is what is happening now. remember last year when alonso and lulu were claiming that only bad luck would stop seb? there is absolutely no reason that given a good and reliable pu, seb would not be back at the top.
I'm starting to believe there are those that use the disagree button not for the substance of the post but against the poster. Keep 'em coming Richard.

F1 » Hamilton: Frustrating to lose time in stops

There has never been in my recollection where so much blame has been leveled on a pit crew about pit stops for a failed race. These guys are not mechanical machines where their every move has to be error free every time to the split tenth of a second. Maybe to save money and go even green, robots should be designed and employed to do all pit stops. Cars will be driven into assigned booths and positioned for efficiency and speed, to do all tire changes, computer controlled tweaks, any parts changes, etc. Cars will also be equipped with a button where, when activated, the cars come in and out of the pit lane to and from the track at the maximum allocated speed, this way drivers don't have to worry about getting a speed penalty. So again quit blaming the pit crew for your failures, if anyone needs to be upset about their pit crew it's Massa, he's been there, done that, and seen worse.

F1 » Rosberg beats Hamilton to extend lead

The first line of defense is to study and learn all you can about your potential enemy. If Rosberg is studying everything about Hamilton to find any weak points to get a leg up, and Hamilton is too superior a driver and thinks Rosberg poses no threat (as some fans seem to think), well it looks like we have already seen the results in these last two races. BTW someone mentioned that Hamilton's position at the pit stop could hinder a quick release. Hamilton said he'll look into it, so quit blaming the pit crew.
