Wait till RBR get the double diffusser sorted and you'll see them winning and blowing away the Brawns. Button knows his fairytail can't continue and he'll have Wiley Rubens and the Red Bull abliteraters hammering him within 5 or 6 rounds. Then theres the Hamilton's, Kimmi's, Massa's, Trulli's Etc putting their two bobs worth here and there. Also about KERS it's still early days and to be honest it does put a bit of twist and intregue into the racing. GOOD STUFF I RECKON! If it was all perfect the the racing becomes to clinical 'optional rules for new technology is a good thing' forcing them not so(FIA ???). '09 season has a good balance so far.

One things certain is that Massa wont be letting Alonso politely overtake him if he has a shot at the title as Kimmi did last season giving Massa a huge chance of winning it. I wouldn't blame him either.

It must be frustrating for Button and Brawn knowing they have a fanastic race car yet so fickle. Initially it was they can't be beaten in the dry. Now it's gotta be 28 deg in the dry for them to be unbeatable. Brawn got the jump on this season with the double diffuser confusion and managed to win three races untouched but once that was sorted and the other teams caught up they have become a best of the rest team not the best. RBR always had the superior car and will be very hard to beat for the rest of this season and probably the next.

I agree Al! FOTA wont work unless all the teams are included. It still early days and theres still a bit of mess to clean. The Cosworth engine is a mistake though if it's out of date and more fuel hungry than the others. That one I dont get. That could be a spanner in the works.

Max looks mean and broken in this photo. I hope the FIA president has a round jolly face with a big fat smile. Santa maybe! or Flav. I wonder if he's happy with all this as he was going to be the next Bernie apparently. Now that would be perfect Santa and Flav the most powerful in F1. Don't worry about me here comes the nurse now. nurse! nurse!

Both awesome drivers! As long as they keep finishing 1-2 it doesn't matter who wins for RBR. Thats the only way they will be able to haul in the Brawns. Mark will win as well no doubt and Seb is getting better with each race. He needs to learn more though as he still needs to be told when to slow down. It's not just about being fast it's about knowing how to race for the team first then yourself. That's what Marks good at!

They have to nail Qualy first and then another one two finish to even have a slight chance of staying in touch with the Brawns this season. It's still early days, a string of wins with the Brawns failing is the only hope for RBR to have a chance for the WC. It's possible but highly unlikely.

Traffic will be worse next year with 26 cars on the grid. I think this qualifying method wont work next year and there will be calls for it to be changed.

I'm sure Max was hoping the odd manufacturer would jump in or at least show interest in F1 with his capped regs. It's seems not! only a bunch of wanna be's have been interested and I think Ferrari are correct in the GP3 analogy of the new restricted F1 class. Break away and get a Elite formula series going with real cars unrestricted! let Max and Bernie have their F1 GP3 rice burner category for the modern world. Give me old school expensive, strong and overpowered gas guzzling race cars with sports car pedegree. F1 is going to be like the rolling stones touring without Mick Jagger and Keith Richards if the big teams leave. Just C R A P

It wouldn't hurt to have an experienced F1 driver and a new guy. Someone like Ralph Shumacher or even Scott Speed for a couple of seasons. If Steve McQueen is still alive he would be perfect. Is he still alive?
