RECOMMENDED COMMENT
39 agree.
5 disagree.
Wait till RBR get the double diffusser sorted and you'll see them winning and blowing away the Brawns. Button knows his fairytail can't continue and he'll have Wiley Rubens and the Red Bull abliteraters hammering him within 5 or 6 rounds. Then theres the Hamilton's, Kimmi's, Massa's, Trulli's Etc putting their two bobs worth here and there. Also about KERS it's still early days and to be honest it does put a bit of twist and intregue into the racing. GOOD STUFF I RECKON! If it was all perfect the the racing becomes to clinical 'optional rules for new technology is a good thing' forcing them not so(FIA ???). '09 season has a good balance so far.

Heidfeld blasts 'stupid' safety car rule.
The fact a car runs out of fuel in race should never happen these days. I have an old grey Fergie tractor and it has a reserve pick up on it and it's over 50yrs old. Why cant these cars have a reserve fuel pickup in their tanks or even a small reserve fuel tank on them so they get another few laps out of them. Pretty simple! In this article it mentions the rules says the pit lane closed for a few laps while the safety cars is out...how much is a few?

Renault 'worried' by Alonso engine failure.
LEXINGTON STEEL your comments make the most sense so far as I was surprised to read the comment about a 'Distributor' failure also. Maybe the points were dirty!!! and a faulty distributor wouldn't cause a fire as we saw. If it was a serious problem then I'm sure we would have heard some noise from the Red Bull camp by now. The motor was on it's second race and as you mentioned a bit of an over tweek most probably caused the motor to hemerage.

Webber: The worst place to go off.
3 agree.
RICH ARD you are full of it. All the drivers have a fear of crashing. I don't think they go out on the track and say "well I hope to have high speed crash in todays race" what a load of C R A P. You obviously don't follow motorsport seriously if you are unaware of Webbers crash at Le Mans. Take Andrew Pros advice and have a look at it on you tube. Then shove your boot in your mouth! RYAN you are spot on with your comments. Webber thinks more about his team and the sport than himself unlike some of the other racers. I think the fact that he has analysed the track and to understand what actually happened to Heikki makes him more than your average knuckle head racing driver.

McLaren satisfied with real-life crash test.
It makes you wonder what might have happened if he did have a full tank of fuel on board with that sort of impact. It's good to see the safety aspects of the cars and tracks really working these days and you can have such heavy crash without death or major injury. I hope they do impact tests with full fuel loads and the outcome is similar.

Our races are getting shorter, rues STR chief.
Vettel must be spewin! It's Karma getting him going back to Japan last season running into Webber whilst in P3 behind the safety car. Sutil should know better by now as he has more than enough races under his belt at the back of the pack. I agree with you ADRIAN why would MaClaren even have entered the thought of him. I'm a Piquet fan but so far this season he's not really coping with F1 and that bingle with Bordais really proved to me he's not ready to be racing in the pinnacle class. Looking at the positive side STR have saved a lot of money on expensive racing fuel this season.

Whitmarsh: Lewis drove a great race.
1 disagrees.
No ones mentioned that Kubica botched the start of the race wich is the only reason Lewis got on the podium. He wouldn't have got past him otherwise. Whitmarsh is doing his job and trying to instill some positivety into the MaClaren camp wich they are lacking this season even though he left out a few facts.

SC rules unlikely to change in '08.
You should able to pit whilst the safety car is deployed in my opinion. At least after two laps of it anyway. Can anyone explain to me why it''s closed during the safety car periods as I don''t know why. It would have been nice if Crash gave a basic explanation with this story.
