Wait till RBR get the double diffusser sorted and you'll see them winning and blowing away the Brawns. Button knows his fairytail can't continue and he'll have Wiley Rubens and the Red Bull abliteraters hammering him within 5 or 6 rounds. Then theres the Hamilton's, Kimmi's, Massa's, Trulli's Etc putting their two bobs worth here and there. Also about KERS it's still early days and to be honest it does put a bit of twist and intregue into the racing. GOOD STUFF I RECKON! If it was all perfect the the racing becomes to clinical 'optional rules for new technology is a good thing' forcing them not so(FIA ???). '09 season has a good balance so far.

Nick has under performed compared to his team mate in all the teams he''s been at. He''s an overated racing driver but a very good test & development driver. He has certainly helped BMW get to where they are now and that''s why they have been loyal to him but now they are at the pointy end of the field they need a natural fast racer and need to make a hard decision and that''s the reality. He would be brilliant for STR, Force India or Honda to get them further up the field.

FA would be more competetive at BMW one would think if there really is an offer but I don't think BMW would want a 1yr deal. On the other hand Honda would like to pick his brains for a year and Fernando could pick Ross Brawn's brain regarding Ferrari and put him in good stead for the move to Ferrari. It's probably more constructive for both parties for him to go to Honda while FA bides his time. As far as Reno goes he's been there and done that and unless something drastic happens with their pace by seasons end he wont be hanging around.

At last Massa has got speed, acuracy and consistancy in his driving and the relationship with Ferrari has matured to now be in contention for a world title. It's taken a few years and he's more hot than cold now. His weakness still is wet weather races and once he gets a grip on that side of his driving he may well deservedly win the crown. Previously I wondered why Ferrari even bothered with him but their beleif, patience and nurturing have turned him into a potenial world champion.

Rosby , Rich ard & Lee I agree give it to Davidson, Ralf or even Pedro as the experienced driver for STR but it's not about the driver here it's about trying to sell more soft drinks in Japan. Deitrich doesn't really care how fast Torro Rosso is but could get some good matketing from them in '09 and expand his empire in the East with Sato. That is a problem with private teams were the brand is more important to the owner than the teams potential racing performance. The sooner he off loads his share of the team the better STR will be. Realistically he or anyone shouldn't be allowed to be financially involved with more than one team as it will create a conflict of interest and that's not fair.

So does that mean there will be two GP's in both Spain and Germany next year? So much for expansion to new frontiers. As RICH ARD said there hasn't been an F1 race at Valencia yet and BE is touting as the best circuit in the world. Lets see! I think the World GP name should be used for one off endurance races in far away lands like the Dakar desert or Afganistan and it takes 3 weeks to finish the race. Now that would be a challenge for F1!

It's like Lewis is Rons McLaren son and Heikki the obediant loyal McLaren Doggy. If Ron loves dogs then Heikki is No 1. He still needs to win on merrit though. With the strange goings on at the front of F1 races this season I'm sure he should get another win or two. Now fetch the chequered flag.....good boy!

If he was a racehorse he'd fetch a pretty penny with the pedegree he has and would certainly be worth training up for the big races. Berger should give him a test drive ASAP then get him a race seat sooner rather than later and not risk him going to another team.

LH your right! Hill doesn't really have a clue! It would have been better if he just said that but then again Crash wouldn't have written the article about his opinion. Next week he'll be saying Massa will win. This article and Damon Hill are a waste of time.

Some of the posters on here should actually read the article and not just the headline and not get sucked into Crash's anti Alsono propoganda. The guy is being realistic and it's no secret that the Renault motor has suffered since the engine freeze and rev limiting rule introduced at the begining of last season. Before that it was the Number one motor. Fernando has been there with reno before and the team is stuck between a rock and a hard place at the moment hence his frustration with the current situation he finds himself. Generally a professional winning sports person is a bad loser when it's out of his or her control.

It seems RBR and Renault are suffering because of the stupid engine freeze and rev limiting rules currently in place. It just not in the true spirit of F1 to restrict innovation and development for such a long period of time wich is what this rule is doing. The sport is going backwards! It''s got to be frustrating for these teams.
