Wait till RBR get the double diffusser sorted and you'll see them winning and blowing away the Brawns. Button knows his fairytail can't continue and he'll have Wiley Rubens and the Red Bull abliteraters hammering him within 5 or 6 rounds. Then theres the Hamilton's, Kimmi's, Massa's, Trulli's Etc putting their two bobs worth here and there. Also about KERS it's still early days and to be honest it does put a bit of twist and intregue into the racing. GOOD STUFF I RECKON! If it was all perfect the the racing becomes to clinical 'optional rules for new technology is a good thing' forcing them not so(FIA ???). '09 season has a good balance so far.

It's a worry! Lights, generators and F1 cars doing 300KMPH without head lights. The real challenge will be if a globe or two and or a generator decides to pack it in the middle of the GP. Does the race stop and do bright yellow flags get waved in the dark spots on the track until they are repaired or the race is over. I still think it's a waste of resources and money just to make Bernie and the European TV audience happy. It really makes a mockery of the KERS and F1 going green scenario. The novalty will wear off and Singapore will have wasted sqillions of Tax dollars on the experiment. Well done Australian GP for not giving in to Bernie.

"Engines are selected at random, and Hamilton's just happened to be drawn after its Hockenheim success." WTF! Are we really supposed to beleive that? Is it drawn from a hat? Definately Suspect and I won't be surprised if they get another fine or points penalty for something menial after the engine test. Such as last Qualy with the fuel nozzle BS that cost McLaren 5000 euro even though the fuel can had an FIA approved nozzle but Heikki left the motor running. Are McLaren really that stupid? It's all getting ridiculous!

I hope this is a good track and not just a show off track. Looking at the lay out it seems a bit all over the place without flowing sections that a true open wheel track should have. Any way it should make for a good spectacle and advertisment for Valencia wich seems to be the theme here more so than a true race track. It''s gotta be better than Catalunya wich is a boring processional circuit and the drivers are sick of. We''ll find out soon enough.

Two bad apples! both parties should have been fined. NOTW for blatent invasion of privacy and Max for bringing the sport of F1 into disrepute due to his stupid sorded actions. Unfortunately the legal system doesn't allow for two losers. Maybe a refund to Max would have been more appropriate instead of 60,000 quid. It's just a sick example of dumb vs dumber.

We always see Mark Webber at the pointy end of practice and qualifying yet the poor barstard can''t get on the podium on race day. Surley he''s due for a win albeit by luck or others misfortune instead of his. Mark pray to the racing gods as it can''t be that far off. I''ve got my fingers crossed!

Truli should have been able to keep the Torro Rosso behind him considering the pace difference between the two cars. It seems Vettel is punching above his weight and the pressure obviously got to Jarno when he should have just kept his driving lines and nerve. A great driver can torment even the most experienced players into error and pounce at the critical moment to gain the upper hand wich is exactly what Vettel did to Jarno in Germany. Does that remind you of anyone in particular?...from Germany! RBR & Reno will keep the much bigger Toyota team honest for the rest of the season and this battle for 4th to 7th in the WDC will be the most intreguing fight in the championship.

I know you can''t read anything firm into practice times but it seems Vettel and STR are on song and he has the hunger for seeing his name on the top of the time sheets. He is maturing nicely as a fully fledged F1 racer what with his performance at Germany and now topping the times twice this week he''s heading in the right direction. Initially I was thinking he needs one more year at STR to hoan his craft but maybe he is ready for the step up to RBR. Keep it up little Shumi!

Relying on a safety car in your strategy in every race is a receipe for failure. If there was another saftey car in this race for example Nelshino would have been back to the mid pack very swiftly. It's a difficult one to nail down and I don't think there is an answer for it and as much as what MW is saying is true the fact is that it is part of F1 racing and the drivers and fans have to accept the luck factor in this sport. Unfortunately for Mark he seems to be on the wrong side of luck yet these young fella's come along and nail a second place in their first season wich is something he hasn't been able to do in over 100 races hence understandibly his frustration in this article.

The strategy was correct regardless of the bias comentry ITV and others think. To do the last stint on a full tank with the inferior rubber would not be a wise move. With a little sporting help from team mate Heikki McLaren got it right this time and the reasult proves that. I'm still not sure how Nelshino ended up 2nd yet only passed one car all race from 17th on the grid. The safety car rule is the real problem. It's not really motor racing when that happens it's more like Lotto.

Typical Italian car! when it's perfect it's the best but when it's not it's a dog. Just like the ones you buy in the shop. I thought Kimmi wanted the track to be hot as the Ferrari is better on rubber than McLaren but in this article he mentions as the track got hot it didn't help them. Again another intreging battle between them in 08 and Kimmi seems disappointed to have fallen to 3rd on the WDC but still has faith in the Italian Stallion. Good to see! BULENT the correct answer to your math quiz is S + T + U + P + I + D .
