MotoGP » Moto2 Valencia - Free Practice (1) Results

Simon Cartledge: Obviously Zarco has been a standout performer in Moto2 this season but I think Rins has set himself up for a long future at the top of MotoGP this year. Absolutely world class.
Think you will find Lowes was quickest. Although I do agree that Rins has been impressive.
I never said he wasn't quickest today. He's a rookie though and will outshine Lowes throughout his MotoGP career.

MotoGP » Pedrosa: No contact with KTM

Sete: Miller is no threat, Neither is Redding, Smith, Dovi, Iannone..... et al. .........None of the current "best of the rest" are any match for Dani....... Looking at Moto 2 young Marquez has been disappointing. I really rate Rins, but he looks to be going the yamaha route. If Tech 3 don't sign him I betcha KTM snatch him up.
If HRC wants to replace Dani they need to sign up Sam Lowes right now before someone else takes him. Miller is decent but he's 2 or 3 years away I think.
lolz. Jules Cluzel and Kenan Sofuoglu are both better than Sam. One year on a factory R6 does not a career make. Btw, Sam and his brother have boat loads of money behind them, it's pretty ridiculous, both guys have teams built around them.
Shame they didn't prove it when they were in moto2 on more competitive machinery than Sam is now.

MotoGP » Bradley Smith signs Tech 3 deal

I like Brad and have followed his career closely since his early 125cc days. It's interesting though that this contract renewal was such a certainty by some users. When I think Of tech 3 riders of the past we have Colin Edwards who went to the factory team. Ben Spies who went to the factory team. Cal Crutchlow who went to factory Ducati and Andrea Dovisioso who went to Factory Ducati. These riders all excelled on the Tech 3 machine and managed much more impressive results than Bradley has. When you think of Zarco, Rabat, Lowes, Kent etc etc you realise that Bradley was in fact very lucky to keep his seat for next year. I think we're gonna have to start seeing Brad get the odd podium if we're to carry on seeing him on competitive machinery from 2017 onwards.
