MotoGP » Valentino Rossi lashes out after Qatar nightmare

Sold their soul? I thought their race bikes were traditionally trellis frames not carbon? That has only been around a couple of years so hardly the soul of Ducati! I agree, with his talent he should at least be fastest Ducati rider. From my experience in motorsport, if you change things drastically for no change in time then their is something fundamentally wrong. We would start by changing the set of tyres to ensure they weren't sh!t then check nothing is "bent", components or otherwise. I would say that as the Ducati appears to have a ceiling in terms of how fast it can go regardless of who is on it then there is a fundamental flaw. Even Casey, although was very good, had his issues on the Ducati.

RR » Hutchinson sustains 'fractured' left leg

I am not going to question his decision to do waht he was doing, anyone who has ever competed doing anything at a reasonable level will know that to do well you have to take risks and everyone takes chances to get to where they want to be. Riders crashing MotoX bikes, Drivers taking part in Rally events. Doesn't even have to be motorsport... look at Paula Radcliffe trying to race a marathon with a stress fracture. He is trying to do what he loves doing and is good at. Was it worth the risk? Maybe he doesn't think so now... was it before hand? yes otherwise he wouldn't have been there! Best of luck for a quick recovery.

WRC » Latvala rolls out of Rallye Monte Carlo

Dafydd Larcombe - The inspired choice was Solberg's as you have said. Solberg, however, was told not to run the split configuration of tyres and ran on full slicks. Making his drive very impressive! Ford had never run this configuration before, Solberg however did run it on his Citroen in Germany last year... so all in all Latvala has Solberg to thank (and I believe he has stated that it was Solbergs shout on the tyre choice)

MotoGP » 2012 Ducati MotoGP bike set for track debut

aaa - Anyone running away and winning each race by 10 secsonds is not entertaining regardless of who it is. I don't expect every race to be a big dog fight all the way to the line, sometimes you see the guys ride off into the distance and have to admire just how good they are. I am thinking Stoner at Phillip island in general when even watching him by himself is good viewing and Rossi at Phillip Island when he was given the 10 sec penalty a few years back...

MotoGP » Stoner: Home title chances 'almost none'

Derp - I don't doubt Lorenzo will be trying very hard. He always does. However, I think over the season so far it has shown us that Lorenzo can run with and beat Stoner. However, there are 4 hondas capable of running with and beating Lorenzo. Given a good day for the Honda boys, Lorenzo will have a tough day out! Lets be honest, Spies is good but he isn't Lorenzo.

MotoGP » Stoner: Home title chances 'almost none'

It is possible... Casey has a really strong chance of a win. With Pedrosa on form, Dovi and Simo both riding quite well and maybe, just maybe, that Ducati will be hooked up enough to get in the mix and Lorenzo could drop 10 points this weekend. To be honest, apart from a couple of great rides by Jorge and a couple of minor set backs for Casey, he deserves this title. New bike (best bike or not doesn't matter) and was on it right from the first lap.
