RECOMMENDED COMMENT

Zeitung - I see your not letting the truth get in the way of your theory!
Glock was on slicks FACT
Trulli was on slicks FACT
Hamilton on intermediates FACT
it was raining FACT
in the first sector alone (a short sector) Vettel and Hamilton were 5 secs faster than Glock FACT
They took even more time in the middle sector (twice as long in time in the dry and more twisty) FACT
Hamilton passed him into last real turn on the circuit FACT
from that point onwards Glock lost the best part of a further 6 seconds FACT
you can see him with no grip out of the corner on tv FACT
Glocks lap time was actually faster than that of Trullis in same car on same tyres FACT!
now go paint by numbers or something!

Kawasaki confirms inevitable.
pipstar - that is a great idea and one I would really like to see but I would really miss seeing the insane performance of the motogp bikes. Ok they have their downsides but at the end of the day they are the pinnacle of motorcycle racing... bikes and riders! Gutting to see kawasaki go, mianly down to the fact we have lost a team and a manufacturer from the paddock plus 2 riders and 2 bikes from the grid, but realistically the focus is always on the front of the race so as long as the top guys are still fighting hard viewers won't necessarily notice the reduced grids, starts will look very bare though! Ok a little harsh on kawasaki but fair comment?

Kawasaki poised to quit MotoGP?
1 agrees.

Dave Peach - Apologies that the reply is so far on in the comments but regarding other teams putting forward more bikes: If Kawasaki cant afford to run 2 bikes in the current conditions is it fair to demand more bikes from teams like honda (6), ducati (5) and yamaha (4). Ok maybe can request that Yamaha supply one more bike (Melandri on it?!) but still would need sponsorship to run the team. Suzuki only put 2 bikes on the grid, but would any more bieks be stretching them too far and send them the same way as kawasaki, there are already rumours that they are next!

Crash.net's
MotoGP season review - Pt 1.
Saran - There are some good arguments that came about in the discussions regarding the laguna race and, as a Rossi fan, I dont think for one second that Stoner had anything in mind going through the corkscrew other than holding his line and looking to regain position let alone trying to force Rossi off track! Rossi was not going to make the corner and given the commitment he had to passingStoner there it shows jsut how hard he had to work! If anything it was a compliment to Stoner that he had to push so hard! Once again, I believe it was a hard but fair race both made mistakes, both resulted in leaving the circuit, shame it ended before the final turn of the final lap!

MotoGP season review - Pt 1.

Hard but fair all race... Rossi did what he had to do to win... no contact and no crashes other than Stoner who also ran off track and was caught out by the transition from more solid run off into gravel! Stoner tried to play games going up the hill leaning on Rossi, I dont think it was malicious at all but he did it. Corkscrew pass... agreed Rossi wasnt in full control, but he stayed on the bike. Stoner lost control of his bike and ran on at last turn (I think he would have stayed on if not for gravel as I mentioned) so in terms of mistakes they are both equal. I enjoyed the racing and even as a Rossi fan was gutted Stoner made a mistake and that it didnt go to the last lap!

FIM rule changes include long hair, gloves.
plymouth admirals! - when these guys stack they often get caught up with their bike, get run over or get tangled in something! I'm pretty sure the guys don't want to be lining themselves up for a scalping from the nearest moving component!

MotoGP single tyre rules finalised.
2 agree.
With regards to development I suppose the main guys asking that ride bikes on the road? well, look at it this way... bridgestone are now working to develop a tyre that works on a variety of machines in wide operating range allowing for use in various conditions?! correct me if I'm wrong but that's a pretty good development to filter down to the road! when was the last time a Bridgestone/Pirelli/Michelin engineer turned up at your local bike dealer to give you a tyre specifically designed for your bike and riding style? Its never happened to me thats for sure!

Whats with the collars?! maybe they are those buff headgear tubes rolled up. I think the best ones were the first Fiat yamaha girl and the honda girl stood with Nicky on the grid.

WSBK Top ten riders - Fifth place.
1 agrees.
He was brilliant at the UK rounds... needs to sort out the other circuits as hes always fast but not getting the results he should be. Seeing as this is the WSBK championship that is pretty key! was his first year so much like when he arrived in BSB I think he will be stronger in 2009.
