Zeitung - I see your not letting the truth get in the way of your theory!

Glock was on slicks FACT
Trulli was on slicks FACT
Hamilton on intermediates FACT
it was raining FACT
in the first sector alone (a short sector) Vettel and Hamilton were 5 secs faster than Glock FACT
They took even more time in the middle sector (twice as long in time in the dry and more twisty) FACT
Hamilton passed him into last real turn on the circuit FACT
from that point onwards Glock lost the best part of a further 6 seconds FACT
you can see him with no grip out of the corner on tv FACT
Glocks lap time was actually faster than that of Trullis in same car on same tyres FACT!

now go paint by numbers or something!

It is a very simple display of who grabbed the brake lever the latest. Of course if Dani's Honda has a higher top speed at that point than Vale's Yamaha, Dani will need to scrub off more speed to make the same apes speed as Vale, so is likely to have to brake earlier. However, for the simple table that this is I dont think that much thought is required! Think simple :)

SW... I never said it wasn't good enough. It obviously is capable of winning as Casey has shown, I think that Rossi will only move over if he feels he can win on the bike straight away as it will be getting towards the end of his career and he will have left Yamaha with a blindingly fast M1 that he will have to beat! Anyway, this thread is moving away from the subject and that is Casey returning.

It will be good to see Stoner back. Like him or not the more front runners the better the racing. As for Rossi going to Ducati, IF it does become possible then I think as someone pointed out already, Burgess will have a huge influence on the decision. "Jeremy, cana we wina a worlda championshipa witha thisa bika?" "Valentino, yes we can mate" "ok Jeremy, letsa go!"

With the ban on testing in F1, Brawn had to test a KERS System somehow! he was obviously building it up in the road works with the constant braking and then hit the magic button once he was out of it. So, as this is a motorsport site, im sure we all want to know how effective the KERS system was! over to you Ross... :)

I think Yamaha will have Spies tied down pretty tight until he gets to motogp and shows how he can go there. I think HRC could do a lot worse than getting Simoncelli and Melandri into the Gresini squad. Also Aoyama (spelling?) is looking good in 250s all things considered so he could be one to watch for them as it is rumoured he will be on the motogp grid next season. They have potential for good riders already on Hondas/due on Hondas/due in motogp next season. Espargaro will be looking for a ride as well now for sure!

Oh dear. Jorge has started to engage brain before right hand. Now he will become very dangerous as he is thinking as well as riding incredibly fast. I think he will be pushing Rossi even harder for the remaining races. He will get a title soon. Lets hope Casey is back to full strength, if not for the remainder of this season then for 2010. 3 way dice Rossi, Lorenzo and Stoner!

From footage, replays and picutres it was a racing incident! Ofcourse Rea would have seen him go wide, but once he cut back to the inside he wouldn't have been able to see Haga. Anyone with any bike experience outside of a games console would understand that! 50/50, both were racing hard and Haga came off worse. Stavros - wakey wakey it did happen to Rea in Magny Cours last year with Robin Harms making a lunge into the hairpin. If you were a race fan you would remember that...

Usual culprits at the front... only friday practice though but I think the thing that looks promising is De Dangerous in 4th! I think contracts should be race by race. The rider and manufacturer championships are seperate anyway. Each rider is issued a set of leathers for each team at the start of the season and away they go! That way people like AD and TE who only shine when the balls are in the vice will have to be fast every race :)
