F1 » Webber: Heikki must be asking 'Was it worth it?'

Webber must be asking 'Was it worth it?' When you are 5 seconds a lap quicker why do you need to try and get an extra 0.5 of a second in the tow? Why risk sitting right behind him into a braking zone you know he will have to brake much earlier for (he is going 5 secs a lap slower Mark! which you keep pointing out!) It a no brainer. Webber made a basic error and ruined 2 guys races. Ok Heikki is not going to have his championship chances ruined by it but every lap those cars can do in race conditions is important to get data. Webber running him off the track is costly and now Lotus are missing about 50 laps of useful data.

MotoGP » Dutch TT reduced to ‘red button’ BBC coverage

anonymous - Steve Parrish as a commentator is pants. the BBC team are slow to spot anything that happens and when they do the only comment you can get is "ARE THERE ANY QUESTIONS?". well, yes, I have a question. I have more BBC channels than you can shake a stick at yet I can still only find it on iplayer! why is that? Why does Tennis need 3 channels to cover it? is that one channel for each Tennis fan? Bring back Eurosport, Toby and Jules... and they have someone far more knowledgable than steve parrish in Neil Spalding. Those guys love all sorts of bikes, dont suck up to anybody and just like to see great racing and get excited whilst commentating!

F1 » Michelin close to dropping out

The French giving up on something?!?! this is news :) On a serious note. Pirelli have been supplying WSBK tyres for years and they have done a good job there. They have knowledge in providing a selection of tyres that are usable across a broad operating range on a variety of machines. F1 will be a different challenge but I think Pirelli will do well.

F1 » Button admits: I was worried!

RawDawg - Spot on I think. Lewis will drive the wheels off the car, he has the raw pace advantage. Button will think his way to the front, much better tactical brain than Lewis(obviously Button is fast as well). 2 different approaches, 1 WC each, handful of points apart in the 2010 title in the same car/team. Doesn't take a genius to work out that both methods work pretty well.

MotoGP » Lorenzo prepares to go solo at Silverstone

Good luck JL! I think his head is in the right place this year, even with Rossi there he had a very good chance of taking the title. At the end of the day, even as a Rossi fan, you have to appreciate the wins that are worked for and JL was certainly going to make Rossi work this season! On a side note, whos idea was it to show him the TT and then cricket! He will be lucky to stay awake watching a group of men all dressed the same stand around in a field on the off chance they have to pick the ball up. Shame he couldn't get over to see some rugby league instead!

MotoGP » Rossi interested in third Ferrari

Give us a break... Why would someone who can race against guys like Lorenzo and Stoner week in week out go and sit in a car and follow a few other people in different cars around. I would give him about 3 races before the novelty of driving an F1 car wears off and he realises that the racing is generally dull and team orders are very restrictive! If he goes to F1 he will be in WRC the following season. Stick with bikes Vale where the real talent and close racing is. If you want a change go and race Moto2 to complete championship victories in 125,250,motogp(500),motogp(990),motogp(800) and finally moto 2! or get over to wsbk!
