MotoGP » POLL: How will MotoGP look in 2011?

Selfish... maybe. Who can honestly say they would not act in a similar way in the same situation? "Hi Jorge, I've spent the last 6 years working with this team converting them from an also ran into a consistant championship winning team in 2 motogp eras. Please, help yourself to whatever you want, any set up info you want just shout to my side of the garage and I will nip round, grab a spanner and help out" :) Jorge is more than capable of doing the work himself, as he has proven, he got a good start by coming into a team that gave him such a good bike but im sure VR isn't the only person who would be a little tentative giving away his and his crew's hard work to someone else.

I would like to see Rossi change bikes again, and a couple of the other guys. Remember how good it was to watch Rossi fighting Max when he went to Yamaha and effectively left Biaggi with his title winning bike. There are a couple of big reasons why Yamaha will try to keep hold of Rossi. 1) Hes Rossi! not always the fastest rider in the current field but definitely the best/most complete. 2) Jerry Burgess and crew! These guys are the best in the paddock and losign Rossi means losing the brains that he would take with him. Rossi is highly unlikely to move without these guys so they will have a huge influence. JB and Co could be the ones to start the musical chairs no the riders!

MotoGP » Stoner has 'higher expectations' for Le Mans

Laguna was a great race, amongst Rossi's best (had Stoner won I'm sure it would have been seen as his best race) but it is in the past. Maybe it affected him that season, maybe it didn't. I'm sure he is over it now though and probably more worried about his start to this season being very poor by his own standards. Hope hes sorted at Le Mans, the mroe fairing bashing at the front the better! They can learn from Moto2! @ Monster - Reprimanded for block passing? give it a break! Block passing is part of racing! and much like any other aspect requires skill to do properly. How about only allowing the riders to pass in a straight line? maybe fit mirrors and indicators as well?

MotoGP » Stoner regains feeling after ‘radical’ change

Has the ducati ever been the most stable at the front? it most certainly (especially with Stoner on board) got out of the corners very fast but the M1 for example could always seem to brake that little later and little bit deeper into the corner. I think the other bikes have just caught up with ducati and stoner on how they get the bike out of the corners. Thats the development cycle at work! I am impressed by Hayden, he has shown that just getting your head down and working hard can bring you results. It can't be easy constantly being compared to Casey on the ducati and trying to match or beat him! fair play to Nicky.

MotoGP » Qatar top four set 800cc record

I think it was clear to see they were all riding pretty hard. Rossi himself said that he was pushing quite hard and the rear was spinning a lot which could have lead to his higher fuel consumption. he may be spot on or it may be a bit of a bluff. He has been around a while so he knows what to say to the cameras and what to say to the engineers behind closed doors! I think as normal the yamahas will come into there own on the tighter circuits. Always the fastest bike in a circle (colin edwards' words!). back to the subject, lets hope for another close race. Get the top 4 a bit closer together! if its a run away victory i am off to youtube to watch estoril 2006!

Stavros - Maybe so, but he did fall off and he didn't win by 10 seconds. This is just a small article on a simple fact, it doesn't require someone starting more pointless arguing on subjects like "Stoner would have won", "Stoner will be world champion", "Rossi has all the luck", "Rossi is inside Stoner's head", "a volcano has saved his season" etc. Not a dig at you but I'm sure you know it will kick off the mroe mentally challenged posters into another special persons debate! :)

MotoGP » Stoner on back foot, chasing first Jerez win

I think Stoner is smarter than the last 2 years. He will be fast at jerez. He made a mistake at round 1 but I am not sure that was down to proessure, it was round 1 at a track hes very comfortable at and no one around. I think he just pushes himself too hard at times and that is occasionally his downfall. I would like another Fiat Yamaha 1,2 but as long as the pace is quick and the racing is close I will enjoy it!
