Glock was on slicks FACT
Trulli was on slicks FACT
Hamilton on intermediates FACT
it was raining FACT
in the first sector alone (a short sector) Vettel and Hamilton were 5 secs faster than Glock FACT
They took even more time in the middle sector (twice as long in time in the dry and more twisty) FACT
Hamilton passed him into last real turn on the circuit FACT
from that point onwards Glock lost the best part of a further 6 seconds FACT
you can see him with no grip out of the corner on tv FACT
Glocks lap time was actually faster than that of Trullis in same car on same tyres FACT!

now go paint by numbers or something!

It was a good race in that it gave more of a clue as to the true pace of bikes/riders at the moment as the other races have been interrupted. Stoner will be closer for the rest of the season though. I thought it was good when he re passed Rossi and tried to up his pace again, even though im not a fan i do appreciate just how hard he tries. At the end of the day Rossi and Dani were just too fast. 3rd place is good damage limitation for him. Rossi won a title last season not only by winning but also by being very consistent. Stoner has learned a lot and he will be more of a threat this season as he is thinking and riding fast now! Im not sure he will beat Rossi but it will be a good fight!

Melandri can ride... there are plenty of people who kicked him when he was down, but there was also a lot of people who still backed him as a great rider, and he is a great rider! he is fast on the Hayate bike, but imagine hwo fast he would be if he was injured as well! you dont hurt melandri you just make him faster!

I think a lot was learned from Jerez. 1: Pedrosa has met his equal at putting in a first lap that is stupidly fast - Stoner! 2: Just because you are pole dont give up trying to go faster as the others wont have! - Lorenzo. 3: They were all given a lesson, once again, in not underestimating the ability of Rossi and the genius of Rossi and Jeremy together! JB is a mastermind, incredible at his job, but he cant magic a solution he needs guidance to the problem and collaboration to ride around remaining issues, which is why him and Rossi are such a good team! All in all a good race, I was impressed with Pedrosa, but once again the master showed them all the way home!

Who knows maybe one of them may be champion by them time the season is through! lets face it, Rubens could have been a world champ by now! Briatore is just bitter because 3 teams have truly outsmarted the rest of the field and they are handing everyone their a$$es! Maybe if his team were better prepared he wouldn't be in this situation! and none of those drivers he mentions were champions driving around in dog slow cars so putting a fast car under a fast driver is key to winning a title!

Given the time difference to Europe this race doesn't even need to be a night race! ok, it may be different for America but the night race factor just increases the chances of failure and huge expense for fans/teams for nothing! Do we really need it? if a race was on at 3 or 4am European time I wouldn't complain about having to get up or stay up for it. Bin Qatar with its minimal crowds or have the race at a proper time, better yet get over to Portimao!

Didn't even bother with the BBC coverage. After seeing that they stuck it on BBC3 instead of 1 or 2 and watching their efforts at covering the qualifying session on the red button i waited for the Eurosport programme. BBC are pants!

BTCC » Should Adam or Plato have won race three?

I am a Jason Plato fan and I am glad he won but I hate the idea of post race penalties. They had time to hand out a penalty during the remainder of the race so if they are to punish Adam then that is how it should have been done.

God damn BBC! why cant eurosport show this session?!?! might have to get a motogp sound track to lay whilst I watch live timing! 15:55 local time Rossi - 1:40.189 Lorenzo - 1:40.559 Stoner - 1:40.586 Rossi is doing a few laps at moment, best i have seen him put in is a 1:40.7, Stoner just did a short run putting in a 1:40.8 and Lorenzo last times i saw for him were very low 1:41s

Who really cares about a wall? if the riders want a wall and the team thinks its ok then let them have a wall! are we race fans or soap opera fans?!!? the battle between these 2 will be interesting, on track! I would love to see JT come out on top, I like Colin as hes a no nonesense guy but whether what he says is true or not (does anyone actually know the truth outside of tech 3?) it is not the way to go about it and i think JT has handled this situation better by keeping his mouth pretty much shut. So, without further delay... lets put the handbags down and get some racing under way
