F1 » Wolff calls for ‘transparency’ at Mercedes

Fullofit: A few races ago I suggested Mercedes ask themselves which of their two drivers they would rather have as the World Drivers Champion Brand Ambassador for the company. Perhaps they have made their choice? Clever Germans ...
"When asked if that would become a harder task as the season goes on, Wolff admitted the championship battle would need managing." That's a pretty telling statement, wouldn't you say so?

F1 » Haas wants Patrick in F1 team

So far, the Gene Haas F1 effort looks to be less valid than the Windsor USF1 effort. I, Jim Clausen, will be starting a completely new F1 team for 2015, possibly 2016, 2017, 2018,....... The team will be based in Ocala, Florida and Don Garlits will be the designer. Ashley and Courtney Force will be the drivers. Since dragsters and dragster drivers go faster than F1 cars, no doubt we will win the WDC in our first year. You can purchase a partnership in the team by sending $20 to: Clausen F1, in care of Clausen Enterprises, Cocoa, FL, USA. No credit cards. Cash only. Hurry, partnerships are limited (to the stupid)!

F1 » Haas wants Patrick in F1 team

Wasn't too long ago Gene Haas was looking forward to being released from prison. He was released in 2009 after serving 16 months for income tax evasion. I really don't think Gene Haas is a good representative for a U.S. F1 team. We have many rich people who know how to avoid paying taxes without getting caught. If you can't cheat the tax man without getting caught how the hell are you going to run a successful F1 team?
