F1 » Alonso wary of new team principal

I would imagine Ferrari has been a disappointment for Alonso. Having won two championships himself and knowing Ferrari had won five shortly before his arrival I'm certain he expected to have won at least two more by now. I think there are two distinctly different Ferraris. One being with the dream team of Schumacher, Brawn, Byrne and Todt. The other being one without the aforementioned. They had many slim years before the dream team and are now experiencing another dry spell.

F1 » Haas Formula undecided on 2015 or 2016 start

As a citizen of the U.S, I would very much like to see a U.S. F1 entry. Please, please don't let it be an embarrassment like the last U.S. F1. I believe the last successful F1 entry was the Dan Gurney Eagle F1, winning at Spa in 1967. Roger Penske (1974-76), Carl Haas, no relation to Gene Haas (1984), Parnelli Jones (2 races) have all tried to field a team with less than spectacular results. The following is a quote from Gene Haas: "THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE A EUROPEAN-STYLE 'JUST THROW MONEY AT THINGS AND GO (RACING).’ THIS IS GOING TO BE A WELL-RUN, EFFICIENT AMERICAN ORGANIZATION." I fear this will be another greatly underfunded F1 disaster by an another American looking for notoriety in the world of racing.

F1 » Haas Formula undecided on 2015 or 2016 start

If I had Gene Haass's ear I would tell him to talk to Dietrich Mateschitz to find out what it takes to build a successful F1 team nowadays. If Haas has the backing to burn through at least $500,000,000 before he turns a wheel on track and he locates in an area that has proven F1 success (read Great Britain), he just might be able to field an entry that is capable of scoring points. Any thing less is a ticket to failure.
