F1 » Alonso happy with ‘surprise’ podium

By contrast to Vettel, Daniel is making him look bad and not a four time champion.. I guess Webber is somewhere laughing cause the younger Australian finished around 20sec ahead of Vettel on the same car and same tires.
It would have been interesting to see Ricciardo paired up with Vettel four years ago. I seriously doubt Vettel would be a four time champion. By comparison, Ricciardo is a much faster driver than Webber.

F1 » Hamilton ‘so much more comfortable’ this year

I don't care about Hamilton's head attire, earrings and entourage. What I am pointing out is he can not keep those things from distracting from his performance as an F1 driver. He is, without a doubt, one of F1's fastest drivers. He also seems to want to carry more baggage than most other drivers, especially any champion of the past. This man now has the best equipment to not only win the WDC, but to totally dominate it. Somehow, I predict, he will sabotage his own season.

F1 » Hamilton ‘so much more comfortable’ this year

I think Hamilton has more variables that could possibly affect his run for the championship than any other driver on the grid. He seems to be more affected by what is going on outside the team than within the team itself. His public image seems to be an important part, to him, anyway. Personal relationships influence his performance more than most drivers. If all goes well for Hamilton, outside the team as well as the team itself, he more than likely will contend for the championship.

F1 » Tyre issues hurting Vettel pace

Comparing drivers seems to include more subjectivity than objectivity. In the last 20 years my favorite F1 driver was Nigel Mansell. He beat Senna and Schumacher on occasion, but by no means do I consider Mansell equal or superior to Senna and Schumacher. Facts are facts and opinions are just that, opinions. This is an opinion: When everything is going right Hamilton will beat Rosberg. When things are less than ideal Rosberg will persevere, whereas Hamilton will not perform as well as he is capable of and Rosberg will come out on top.

F1 » Boullier: McLaren believes it will win in 2014

R6Ryder: I don't see any reason in having high hope and being optimistic. If he came out and said "we are so far behind, we have no hope, we will never fight for a win this year" then I think we would all be saying they have given up and should just pull out. Sure, the idea is far fetched... But having a defeatist mentality is about the last think Mclaren needs.
Exactly. My comment was in jest, for the most part.
