I don't think Colin is the brightest bulb in the room. His comment about him being a right-wing extremist pretty well rips it for me. Just what the world needs more of, an extremist with a .50 caliber.

Jense appears to have the bit in his teeth. Nothing begets success like success.

quote, "I don't care how many no-name, micro budget teams FIA recruits, it will be a watered down F1 and will be pretty much meaningless." If it's anything like the CART and IRL split it may be disastrous for everyone. That split was supposedly about bringing budgets under control. Now CART's gone and no one watches Indy Car (IRL). A watered down open wheel series is exactly what we have in the U.S.

The mid east oil revenue is soon to dry up. East asian countries will eventually lose their competitive manufacturing edge, after all it's based solely on cheap labor. When this happens you'll see weeds growing on these new F1 tracks. And it can't happen soon enough to suit me.

Wrong, Jr. It's the fans who eventually make Nascar what it is. After all, remove the fans and what do you have left. No big, fat paycheck for you drivers, huh? The fan deserves to know.

Dale Jr. should be cleaning helmets for Kyle Busch. That's the closest Jr. will ever get to a championship. Unless he gets the "call" from Nascar.

Pink race car at Indy! My god! Has it come to this? I'm sixty-four years old and remember my first Indy 500. I was about ten and listened to it on the radio. Tremendously exciting. Hanks, Rathman, Ward. I followed up through the years. P. Jones, Foyt, Unser(s), cars by Bignotti and Brawner. The incomparable Jim Clark and Colin Chapman. Let's not forget Granatelli and the turbo. Andretti, Rutherford, Mears, all truly memorable Indy 500 winners. The racing world was truly focused on Indianapolis during the month of May. It sure has become but a shadow of its former self. I doubt I can recall more than two winners of the last ten years. As the Guinness ad says, "Brilliant". Thanks Tony.

Relish it, guys. You probably won't see the likes of Rossi, once he retires, for another twenty or thirty years. As for Rossi moving to Suzy or Kawi. Why? The results are already known.

Diffuser, schmuser! Reminds me of Nascrap. "Take that thang off your car, Boy, ya'll goin' too fast." Hasn't the diffuser been declared legal?

I've been attending motorsports events for over fifty years and always preferred daylight over night races. Sounds like this race could of been run were if not for the glare of the lights. Daytona 200 went to a night race this year. Same number of fans stayed away, myself included and I live only fifty miles from the track.
