George seems to be the most likely candidate to take over from Rossi (because nobody knows what Casey will do). Over the years the top guys came up the ranks quickly to the top, and somehow managed to stay there. Where that puts champions like Schwantz,Nicky,and Casey, (all one time winners) I don't know. Food for thought though.Maybe Lozzer won't make it and Dovi or Escargo will do it?

I thought that Honda wanted the reduction to 800c because all they needed to do was lop a cylinder from their 5 cylinder engine. The almost unanimous voting for a return to 990cc puzzles me. The reasons given, powerslides to name one, goes against the fact that 125's and 250's give more exciting battles at the front of a race.

I've been a Hopper fan for years. No matter where he goes next, I'll still be a fan. No matter what the anti-Hopkins posters say, he will still be one of the fastest riders on the planet, with a riding style that is second to none. I struggle with why posters like Glen think it is big to castigate people when they are down. Real race fans will want the same as me, namely to see Hopper get fit and healthy and back doing what he is so good at.
