RawDawg......I see your posts as well thought out, generally unbiased, and constructive. It mystifies me why you generate so many idiotic responses.
Same way Morgue does I suppose.
Keep it up mate, s0d em.

'No grip, no chance' for Rossi at Estoril.
1 disagrees.
"Please explain how that translates into moaning." You don't have to mention Casey in your answer. I see no need for me to enter into a 'who is the best rider' OR 'who is the best moaner' debate. Do we as fans really not want the riders to give reasons for their perceived poor performance? Look at Toseland and Hayden, for example, more than once they have clearly stated that it is them and not their bike that is at fault. They don't get any praise for their honesty, just more hatred.

In practise Rossi said 'we need more rear grip' In the race he suffers from lack of rear grip. Please explain how that translates into moaning. Pleased for Casey, nice that he is back. Great fun to see him wrestle that bike into submission.

Official: Ben Spies to MotoGP in 2010.
3 agree.
Forums are weird. Bens Pies wins 12 races (and counting), and people still want to knock him down. Posters who always talk sense (rawdawg comes to mind) generate hatred. Nationalities sometimes seem more important than what has been said. Some people think that swearing and name calling adds weight to their arguements. I love it

Will Fabrizio help Haga this weekend?
Hookem, correct what you say, I know, but I am worried that bikes will go the same way as F1. Remember Mansell & the like taking people out in the first corner in order to win the championship. Coultart publicly anouncing that he allowed his team mate to win merely to say thankyou to him. I started watching bikes in the late fifties and team orders was rife then, but they dealt with it differently then. Hailwood stayed in 2nd place, gradually dropping back and then on the last lap making up 200yards and crossing the line on his team mates rear wheel. Phil Read told Yamaha (and poor Bill Ivy ) to stick their orders. Lost his ride because of it, went on to win the title as a privateer.

Mark, Hookem. From my place in 'fantasy land' it seems that there's not much point in watching the races then. Maybe the teams could scrap the races and draw lots instead.

Fan, I was saying similar on an earlier thread. Like you, I am totally against team orders. Maybe there is no need for team orders anyway. Fab can win all the remaining races if he wants too, he'll be taking points from Spies too don't forget. Nori's job is to finish ahead of Ben regardless of where they finish. If he is unable to do that then he doesn't deserve the title anyway.

Tardozzi is quoted as saying that he did not give team orders because he didn't want fingers pointed at his team for being unsporting.

Haga back on form, back in front
Cemtex, I wonder what the riders feel, that is my point. How can you be proud of an achievement in any endeavour if you only made it because somebody allowed you to? I don't see what Troy has to do with it, but I do take your point. Troy would have won them anyway wouldn't he? Back to Nori, I'm a fan but I don't think he should get the title just because he 'deserves' it. Bare in mind he has won not much more than half the number of races this year as Spies has.

Paul, you may well be right in what you say, but,it is a sad picture you paint. Do riders really want to win races and championships by other riders letting them? Empty victories are just that...empty. Anyway, in my book it is cheating.

Nori needs to win the title on merit, NOT with team orders. ( though I might just accept team orders in the last race of the last round ) As a race fan I do not want to watch knowing that certain riders won't be allowed to win. If I was a rider I would not want to win by someone being instructed to let me. Begger Tardozzi and the sponsors, this is called racing so they should race.
