F1 » RELIVE: The dramatic 1989 Senna-Prost showdown!

'remembered for the famous clash between Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost' Not really. I do remember that race very well because a) how Senna was handed DSQ in an unfair manner b) FIA politics behind the scenes, especially one scoundrel c) that black FIA decision cost Senna his 2nd WDC title d) eventually, that incident has led to 1990 Suzuka incident. I'll lay 25% blame on Senna and 75% on FIA and Prost. I don't believe we'll ever see a great legend like Senna. The current generation drivers look like tender babies when one compares their behavior today dealing with the authority or team managements. (I'm not advocating to be a rebel or whatever).

F1 » Alonso doesn’t expect to sit out 2015 F1 season

@This is Alonso posturing so he doesn't look the bad guy, though he has been playing these games with Ferrari for the past couple of years and they are fed up with his antics Now, Alonso has become a bad guy? What you guys are drinking like? Ferrari fed up with his antics or vice versa? FA is the best driver out there, but Ferrari didn't deliver him title winning cars unlike Red Bull or Mercedes. Do you regularly watch football or F1?

F1 » Red Bull's Marko compares Verstappen to Senna

Red Bull's Marko compares Verstappen to Senna? Really? I stopped it right there. I think Mr. Marko has lost his mind. Anyone remembers how Senna entered UK, and waged a long battle to reach up to the F1 world? IMO, he isn't Senna. He simply can't be. I don't think any racing driver can be like him in terms of overall person which includes his legendary racing career.

F1 » Wolff: F1 radio ban ‘controversial’

FIA is full of b$ politics - Senna proved it many times. Radio ban is not a right decision from some perspectives. That activity could be put for limited use such as emergency messages or having a message quota for each and entire weekend. Perhaps 10 or so. @Under normal circumstances, Nico would be fired and sued What, for a racing incident? I couldn't believe Mercedes made Nico to apologize to Lewis. I think the team is trying hard to appease everyone, which isn't possible. Also, the media role in all this can't be overlooked. Example, Sky sports folks are adding fuel to speculation, controversies, and one lame commentator defends Nico booing shamelessly on the live event. Yellow, biased, propaganda or agenda-driven media role is a growing menace in many nations.

F1 » Lotterer confirmed at Caterham

.....nor should we forget that Lotterer has a skill set that arguably should have taken him to F1 long ago: he has the pace. Look at his string of fastest laps at the Le Mans 24 Hours on the way to victory this year. He has supreme technical ability and understanding of a modern racing car, and he has the mental resolve that is an important constituent of the make-up of every successful F1 driver. ******* That's more than sufficient to justify his F1 debut, although I agree that timing isn't quite perfect. But it was team's decision so let's see how he performs on this weekend. No doubt it'd be a tough time given car isn't doing well, let's hope he finishes the race.

F1 » Lotterer confirmed at Caterham

107SS2009 - Lotterer isn't a pay driver and please don't demean him with such comments. If you're not aware, autosport already cemented his place in the top 50 drivers who never raced in F1 50. Valentino Rossi (ITA) 38. Andre Lotterer (GER) 24. Paul Tracy (CAN) 19. Scott Dixon (NZL) 12. Dan Wheldon (GBR) 11. Gil de Ferran (BRA) 5. Rick Mears (USA) 4. AJ Foyt (USA) 3. Dario Franchitti (GBR) 2. Sebastien Loeb (FRA) 1. Tom Kristensen (DEN) The latest analysis from Gray Watkin's says - Andre Lotterer has the pace to be in F1 If you were going to pick a driver who'd never so much sat in a Formula 1 car of anything approaching recent vintage to make a hasty grand prix debut, then Andre Lotterer is probably the man best qualified for the job. His mix of experience of complicated hybrid machinery from Audi's LMP1 programme in the World Endurance Championship and high-powered single-seaters from Super Formula in Japan adds up to a pretty good starting point....

F1 » Lotterer confirmed at Caterham

Going by his Formula Nippon and WEC achievements, Andre Lotterer is like a breath of fresh air in F1. But I wonder how much Caterham improved. Nevertheless, Lotterer is a great driver and better than most in the current F1 stable. I understand some English fans are whining and moaning about Lotterer because he's a German. I wish Loic Duval in F1 too.

F1 » Hamilton: Usual rules didn’t apply

'And Hamilton doesn't believe the situation within the team and between himself and Rosberg will be affected by his decision.' Really? It's already affected due to the obvious reasons. But what if Nico rejects team orders to let Lewis pass in the next race? I think most of LH fans will once again cry foul, isn't it? :)
