MotoGP » Honda: Data shows Rossi 'kick' on Marquez

Well, it comes straight from the Horse's mouth: 'Valentino is the greatest ever champion of our sport. We believe he has done a great job this year, and if he wins the Championship he truly deserves it, as he has been consistent and very fast all year. The fact that he is 36 years old increases the respect for such a great champion.' I'll rest my case here.

R1LYS1: Rossi istignated it himself. Why look for other responsible, beside with the so called goat status he should have stepped up from keeping people invading other people's personal life, what does marc's mom have to do with this whole love affair between Marc and Rossi? Rossi has the status to step up in the media and end this instead he just feeds it.
I had enough of this nonsense. Rossi is entitled to raise the issue because it is now well known what really happened. In brief: 1) An unholy nexus was formed between Spanish riders to stop Rossi winning his 10th world title. 2) MM played dirty tricks because of many reasons. 3) JLo pretends as if nothing of these sorts happen on the track. 4) MM's antics at PI and Sepang is known to all 5) Rossi isn't a dummy who takes rubbish from these kids. So he began his own process, starting with appeal with RD and now with CAS. To answer to your point, MM should have known with whom he was playing dirty. Thi

Insidejob: It seems there is no depths that this individual will not sink to in order to 'win'. I've always known the man was an egotist with a massive sense of self importance & self entitlement. Read his book - it's truly disturbing what a megalomaniac this guy is. But this puts the tin hat on it. Not satisfied with having gained millions of fans, millions in the bank and awarded (you will note I say awarded, not 'won') 9 WC's, and having always had the best equipment, tyres, as well as negotiated or demanded advantages over his rivals for almost 20 years, as well as having got away with some dirty tricks on & off track.... He is still not satisfied. Catch him red-handed, & yet still he tried to corrupt the system so he can have more. This is no champion. This is a self-serving nasty piece of work. There is no integrity in Grand Prix while this man has ANY involvement, & until FIM/Dorna grow a pair and show him the door. Hope you don't mind me quoting.

Insidejob: The person responsible is the rider who took another rider to the edge of the track and downed him.
You registered yourself as Insidejob but failed to see the dirty job, isn't it? Perhaps you deliberately ignore as it suits your line of defense? No sane mind would blame Rossi because it was MM who broke the unwritten code of conduct which is meant for title contenders. What was the necessity to play dirty? To help another Spanish rider.

kneepuck: It is the same as some parents wondering why their kids ended up in jail after they provided everything for them. Well, did you ever whack'em in the head when they ****d up? No, you kept telling them they were the kings of the world and they ennded up trying to kill you.
You showed your true class with such a silly post. Kill? You reminded me of many useless politicians in my nation who sit in the Senate and House running obnoxious Committees without any fruitful results. You have a good future in politics, good luck!

William Young: Rossi initiated this whole pantomime by his completely unnecessary attack on Marquez and Lorenzo at the Sepang press conference. No matter his intentions, he initiated Marquez' crash in the race. Both actions were completely unsportsmanlike and selfish. Rossi claims Marquez is still bitter after two races this year, Argentina and Assen. I think perhaps it is Rossi who is bitter, after two MotoGP World Championships, 2013 and 2014. Rossi must also wonder now, what kind of reception he will receive in Valencia. He really has blotted his copy book with this behavior. Can you imagine any of the other greats (he undoubtedly is) behaving like this, I don't think so. He is already blaming Marquez for losing him the championship, if he would have kept his mouth shut it could have been different.
This is called living in a Fools Paradise. For a change, many moaning folks here should be thankful that Valentino isn't a British national! :)

AyrtonSenna: He won't. Him and his fanatics believe they have done nothing wrong. Rossi has poisoned motogp for the last decade. The sooner he retires the better.
I'm neither a fanatic nor a prejudiced person. Having said, I'd urge you to refrain from posting with that ID. It brings disrespect to that great man. I hope you'll understand, thank you.

whyyoumadtho: Pot calls the kettle black for Rossi fans. Had it been the Spanish press who ambushed Rossi outside his house, can you imagine the outrage by the Rossi fanboys (fangirls).
This post proves that you are a fangirl, no? Well, Spanish press neither have courage nor audacity to encounter Valentino because they knew what really happened, and who are those dirty boys behind it. Just don't take on Rossi followers, supports or fans as if it's like a dissing competition between the racing fans. Think again.

TrueFan: I just did analysed the available timing data from the Philip Island GP (lap times, sector times, position changes by sector etc). Rossi's Thursday claim that Marquez was "deliberately riding slowly to mess up his championship" ought to be obvious if it has any merit. There's no credible evidence to support such claims. Marquez's slowest lap when fighting with Rossi, but the lap and sector times were not particularly slow. His fastest two laps were when he broke away from Rossi and went after Lorenzo...[snip] Marquez rode that race to win. Looking at the lap times, Marquez's story stacks up. The only attempt at race fixing was Rossi. No question. He was scared that he'd lose the championship, so he publicly slandered Marquez with false claims in order to coerce him into com
BiasedFan: After going through your analysis, I've come to the conclusion that there is hardly any 'true' in it. Hence, I disagree. Sorry!
