It doesn't matter to Italian Tax authorities anymore This is their statement: Italy’s tax authority has praised Valentino Rossi for his full co-operation in the multi-million pound tax probe that the Yamaha star finally resolved this week. Valentino Rossi agreed to pay 35m Euros, said: “Following the assessment made by the Italian Fiscal Department, Valentino Rossi will pay a total of 35 Million Euro for the period 2001/2006. The Italian Fiscal Department thanks Valentino for his cooperation and full support in bringing this issue to a close." Should I tell you what to do next

Yes, not at all bad for Stoner (especially his pole positions). So does for Lorenzo and Dani too. Over all, 2008 turned out to be really good one > and people call for him to retire in 2007.. Wonder what are they made of to call for his retirement

Correct Paul 46. I also feel that Lorenzo gonna fill up the post 2010 scenario (read as kinda vacuum created by Rossi's departure) in the Yamaha assuming they would retain him! Whatever it is, he is a tremendous and highly talented rider. We would see more ripples created by him in 2009 season

@ Here comes number 10. It would be great to watch #10 but i'll be not surprised because Rossi has won: 11 race wins in 2005 11 race wins in 2002 11 race wins in 2001 11 race wins in 1997 (but this was in 125cc) Should I need to say more about him, btw, he gonna break Stoner's 2007 points record too I would love to watch Rossi reaching or breaking the win #12 barrier set by Doohan way back in 1997. I wish Rossi makes this as target in the 2009 MotoGP season. Go Rossi Go!!!!!

@ If Rossi retire, it would be a hard job for yamaha to win the championship. I agree to you mostly but Sport waits for none We all know the genius inside the Rossi and his magic touch with those Bikes but am almost sure that if Yamaha gonna retain (read as good relations with him) Lorenzo he will be their flagship.
