I always dreamed of buying one since the 1995 launch of Ducati - Senna edition. After 10 years I've brought a 999R. So, personally I know how a Ducati performs! Actually I wished Rossi to join Ducati. Terms failed I guess! Rest is all the history. What I understand is developing a race bike is not an easy thing compared to a production bike. Plus, Ducati lacks a Rossi - to give the right developmental feedback on the technical data to the minutest detail

It was clearly the mistake of Yamaha for not able to provide him a really competitive bike. Strangely, Michelin has never accepted for the painful 2007 campaign! And, I don't think he is *really* tired. Too early for him I guess...I remember very well how he hunted 11 wins in a season. I would love seeing him beating the Doohan's record. Go Rossi Go!!!

What is more fascinating is Rossi is an extra-ordinary development rider who can give *very* precise technical data. And, Rossi is persistent with the Manufacturers to push the pace of the over all development of the bike as a package. He is just like Senna, who can understand and treats a machine as more than *just* a machine! That's the success mantra of the Rossi guys
