Yes, RCV211 was the most awesome MotoGP bike ever built. Great to watch that bike's performance and Rossi masterfully rode it so well. If you ask my honest opinion, would love to watch Rossi racing for Ducati next year coz he gonna retire after that and am sure he gonna solve this other than Stoner 'untamed' puzzle :)

@ How can you say that Stoner is as good as Rossi? Whoever says that they are fooling themselves and accuse others as fan boys :p Anyway, am not into such meaningless arguments. To me he is the best and he is an inspiration to so many other greats like Roger Federer etc. And one thing am very much certain, bet any other rider shows such a fitness, desire to win and highest levels of motivation in the age of 30s. In future, we all gonna see/know how other riders would do :)

@ Somebody posted that Lorenzo is the second best rider in MotoGP. Yes, he is :) In fact, if we look beyond Stoner wins, Lorenzo is more talented rider from his 250 cc days than Stoner and he won world titles which Stoner never did. Should that Ducati rumor is true then it's gonna be more trouble to Stoner than to Rossi coz to Rossi it doesn't matter who the rival is and he got used to all of them very well. Believe me, am not flaming anyone but Stoner should be worried on that Duc rumor :p :p

@ Stoner may have Leukemia Don't be so stupid. It's been accidentally spilled by Matt Roberts on Brno race commentary that Stoner is got infected with Swine Flu and suffering badly. Now, don't get on my tail coz you could always watch that BBC live Brno race video (Matt told to Cox or Parish, don't remember). Question is, why the hell Ducati not confirming it :?

From the Yamaha perspective replacing Lorenzo might be somewhat tough task. Whom they could sign like? Stoner/Lorenzo - Ducati (Stoner to M1 ruled out) Dani/Dovi - sealed at Honda Melandri and Loris - Gresini and Suzuki respectively Ben Spies - can't comment coz dunno about him at all Colin - Tech3 and me dunno about Toseland's seat Simoncelli etc - booked their seats Who remains? Colin back to M1 factory - Am not convinced Vermulen - I think he's ruled out Toni Elias - Might be a potential candidate? Dunno  Who else then :p

@ statistical analysis will be biased and flawed Exactly! This contradiction (tossed by some) I wanted to prove it. I referred Rossi's MotoGP stats not his entire career. If that's the case, nothing else remains to discuss! Don't you think so :p Going by your point, realistic point of comparison, never heard anyone doing that in MotoGP. I mean, head-to-head stats we see in Tennis etc. Well, even if that's the parameter to compare, Rossi will have the upper hand in terms of Wins, Podiums and Points and not to forget about his involvement be it developing the M1, bike set up etc which is unparalleled with any rider. Even commentators from Fox, Eurosport, BBC etc agree completely :)

@ Since 2007 Stoner has 18 wins. Rossi just reached 18 this weekend. I thought he won more than 75 Moto GPs out of 102 total GPs, isn't it :p @ None of us here are Engineers so, we can't put any definate number on Stoner's horsespower advantage over Rossi in 2007 Am better qualified to talk on Duc matters coz am an Engineer and also own a 999R since the last few years. 2007 bike clearly dominated with good straight line speeds and with those BS tyres too. @ he wanted people to close their eyes and believe he straight-out beat Rossi in 2007 with no advantage. Yes. Not only that, Stoner dunno how to talk or respect great champions. Alberto Contador recently gone Casey's way :p
