MotoGP » Lorenzo: Spinning rear cost me chance of win

arthermo77:
beibs: For some reason Jorge cannot deal with losing from Rossi. You can see it through his face how uncomfortable he feels when losing from him on equal terms.
Unfortunately Lorenzo has always resented the adulation of Rossi's fans which is why he went through a phase of mimicking his victory celebrations. Lorenzo is very talented but retains the demeanour of a somewhat spoilt child and I'm quite sure his move to Ducati is motivated by his desire to prove that he is the better rider of the two, time will tell of course but it will still prove nothing as the Ducati has changed a lot. Rossi and Lorenzo can never be directly compared because of the age difference but I am very interested in who will take Lorenzos seat at Yamaha!
Good Comment !!! - Gotta be Maverick, don't ya Think !!!

MotoGP » Lorenzo: Spinning rear cost me chance of win

GlazingVegas: Rossi had the same issue. If Jorge was struggling more it would show in to top speeds. They were almost identicle. It's no big secret that Rossi often beats Jorge when everything isn't "perfect" (perfect grip, etc) and today was an example. Jorge is hard to beat when the grip is at its best. I think it's kinda bizarre to say "I woulda won" not taking into account that Rossi had the same issues and not knowing how much pace Rossi had in reserve had Jorge caught him. . Maybe Rossi woulda gone even faster as well without the rear grip issues. Who knows. Which is why most riders don't say "I woulda won if not for this or that" .
EXACTLY !!!!!! 2 disastrous parc-fermez interviews on the trot for JL. He does himself no favours - it seems that some more PR savvy member of his team crafted the statements that we read in the article!!

MotoGP » Wet track means extra practice cancelled!

Guna4699: What a curse.. Friday was wasted by dusty track. Any relevant data from Saturday burst away in form of Redding's rear tyre. Any decent track time with new tyre before race was washed away by drizzle... Riders are going to be like we all bought a brand new bike each and straight away raced at 300km/hr... very dangerous, guys need to use more brain before balls this afternoon...
Well put...... Maybe the weather will dictate that the race is run on wet tyres - should be OK !! If that is not the case I would much rather see the race get cancelled than see any rider get hurt as a result of these combined adverse circumstances !!

MotoGP » MotoGP Argentina - Full Qualifying Results

ZeFrenchAngle: 10th in FP3. 4th in FP4. 2nd in Qualifying. Notice a progression ? His main opponents smashing themselves up at Turn 1. The wheelie of all times at the end of qualifying ..... ROSSI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He He He ...... :-)
One further progression tomorrow will do very nicely !!! Turn 1 must surely be raising concerns for all riders - nasty piece of track - hopefully treated with respect during the race so that no more victims are claimed !!

MotoGP » Pedrosa: It’s lucky I don’t have wings…

SBPilot: I really do think they should ban the wings for safety reasons. This was pure luck Dovi didn't get part of his leg severed. I really hope Dorna doesn't be reactive about this issue and is proactive. Please do not wait til a rider gets seriously hurt or worse from these wings before banning them. It will hurt Ducati's performance but Gigi will need to find a way to rectify it.
Spot On !! Wings combined with unpredictable tyres are a recipe for disaster !!
