@el Big Thanks for the reply "The tires are simply not going to live with a 300hp MotoGP bike." No way - you are absolutely correct !! BUT - surely the essence of a prototype series is to both exploit existing technologies whilst pushing boundaries - how else could GP possibly hold on to the "Premier" mantle without these maxims to aim for?? It's not unforseeable for WSBK lap times to match / better GP lap times - how pointless would that make GP - especially when there is no need for the restictions imposed ( think we all know that no real costs are being cut !! Cheers

@RX10Rob / Wosideg Good Posts - both !! Get Rid of Dorna - Agreed , but How ???? Maybe the engine rule will create enough upsets in '10 (I predict) - for those with influence to question this rule (and others). It can be reasoned that nothing introduced as "Cost cutting " actually acheives it's end - merely adds costs in other team areas. Saddens me to see this sport in a downward spiral !! Wish there was more we fans could do about it !! Prototype series ??????? @Joe King - was wondering the same myself !! Anyone know what was worse 15 years ago (or is it 18 now, given the wording of Rossi's statement ??) Cheers

GP is a 3 class event - surely deserving venues should host a full "event" - not a selective "event" !! Cheers
