I don't really care who gets into motogp as long as they can produce great races. There have been way too many runaways in the last 2 years and not enough 4 way battles for the win. Spies seems to be a very talented rider and I think Suzuki are moving up: that's all good to me. Also, to say that the AMA is a backwater is border line ignorant as it has produced many many motogp world champions.

Racerdog, that's not really the issue. Plenty of men finish behind her why is that? Should they be out of racing? Rob is totally correct: where is her advantage? You said it yourself, she does not win, even with this supposed unfair weight advantage. Drivers weigh different amounts: some are lighter, some are heavier: this is not a new thing. Why are you all so upset by her? Let's face some other facts, the only reason there is so much hate directed toward her is because she's an outspoken women.

Pam - you rock! The cars in the IRL are the same weight, they changed that rule last year. She's still pretty fast. Her approach / attitude doesn't sound all that different from these guys (the only difference being she's not as good and is a women). AJ Foyt, Dale Earnhardt, Cale Yarborough, Paul Tracy..... The list is endless.....

Not a Pedrosa fan but he's a great rider: they all are at this level. Motogp is always best when it has a good villain (best ever Max and Val). Pedrosa fills that role right now, nothing wrong with that: it's just too bad he's not as exciting on and off the track as Max.

Kenlucky Kid, So you've ridden all these bikes and that's how you've come up with your "brilliant" assessments?

18 Italian 18 British 15 US 6 Australian Not bad for a country that can't race motorcycles. Having said that, all this nationalism is a bit disgusting. What's an American?

All the drivers know where the lights are, they deal with them from opening practice until the race is over. He screwed up, get over it. As for Rosberg, he should have been looking ahead of Hamilton, every club racer knows this, but his error, and it was an error, is less egregious, so gets a pass on this one, sorry.

Yet another example of why motogp kicks F1's butt.
