F1 » Hamilton/Mercedes contract talks on hold

Like him or not (as most of you do) he is a hot commodity. I'm shocked at how many of you know what the teams want from what they don't want. Nobody pays $20Million for something they don't want but don't tell that to the armchair racers. Tell it to the crowd that booed NR last race when he was on the podium...the people who actually attend races and spend money. I would love to hear someone talk about the man's driving ability instead of hats and earrings. No drive was more memorable to me than the inaugural USGP in Texas where he caught Vettel in an inferior car and beat him. When news of his next contract surfaces a lot of you will be bitter for a very long time. Until then, bring it Daniel Ricciardo!!!

F1 » Alonso and Hamilton praise ‘fantastic’ Ricciardo

I'm not a huge fan of Vettel. I don't dislike him as much as 107SS2009 dislikes LH, just not a huge fan. But I do dislike the fact that folks on this site try to belittle his 4 consecutive titles. Yes, he had a great car under him but we can't deny the fact that he produced some stellar drives prior to landing that ride. Please show some respect for the drivers and give credit where it's due.

F1 » Hamilton: Reliability all that can stop me

Why is 107SS2009 so terribly incensed by Hamilton defying team orders? I swear he is on Rosberg's or Merc's payroll because he has been on every comment section of every article with this same banter. I hope he complained when Vettel did the same last year. How can you dislike...I mean hate LH so much that it gives you parochial vision? The proceedings as far as I'm concerned gave more flavor to the championship. Sleep it off dude

F1 » Hamilton cost Rosberg win chance – Wolff

I swear 107SS2009 is gonna have kidney stones over this debacle. He's commented on every article on this site about LH disregard for team orders. I wonder what he would do in the same position battling his teammate for a world championship that many don't get a chance to fight for over their entire racing career. The polls are in...4/5 of the people on this site believe LH did the right thing. If it went any other way I believe a lot of people would lose interest in F1 but now my interest is piqued because there is genuine rivalry in the sport.

F1 » Rosberg seeks answers for Hamilton defiance

F1 is not a team sport. If that's what you folks are looking for then check the world cup or the Olympics for synchronized swimming. Team only comes into play when there's an unbridgeable points gap between teammates while there's a rival capable of winning the championship. Otherwise it's every man for himself. I believe Hamilton was fair in saying if Nico gets close enough he can overtake him. Can't expect him to disrupt his rhythm to the tune of 1.3 seconds to let Nico by.
