**it58, I took the plunge, not a big WSB fan but for £50 may as well, nothing wrong with the quality of the picture 720 all the way through but the commentary?? A chill went up my spine as soon as I heard the words "Welcome to Phillip Island" and realised it was Jonanthon Green, but hey turn the volume down. Interesting points on the commentary as well as a lot of mistakes, but them saying, and doubt this will kick off a debate because apparently its only Motogp where the riders are not what they seem, that the level of electronics have increased in SBK class and that the Ducati as well as others have last years Motogp package. My opinion get rid of qualifiers they are pointless and give false indication, it also looks as if the forks are struggling with the grip.

TalentFan: I know Mick and others won't agree but I believe the racing would be so much closer and better and much more entertaining.
No I don't agree, I have always enjoyed GP for what it is, whether 500's, 800, 4t or 1000. It is seeing the best riders do what I could not with some amazing machinery, the atmosphere at the track. It is not just about the race, if it was practice days would be pointless they may as well just turn up like club racing 20 mins in the morning then race. Its evovled and Dorna have took it from the brink of extinction in 91, made mistakes by letting the manufacturers decide the rules, then reigned them in calling Honda's bluff. It is what it is, some people want it to be something it isn't or was never created for. The new rules are as simplier then they ever were.

Not at all because the fast riders are also good at relaying the data, ignoring problems and still pinning it, Doohan used to say that Rainey could ride any bike in any state faster than most. I like watching Hernandez trackside, the guy is fast and fearless, his problem appears to be setting the bike up, watching him wrestle the Avintia in the first year with Motec ignition was brilliant, it looked and sounded like it was doing the wrong thing at the wrong time all the time. He was getting the Aprilia into shapes last year no one should. Maybe a good example of when software assistance is gone and rider skill and bravery is key.
