Thanks for that James, I was feeling a little low today but you just gave me a good laugh. Top 6, what a joker?

Stoner will get off that Ducati looking totally knackered after the Portugal race - Not from his illness but too much time sitting around fishing, surfing etc.. :)

I'm guessing without those couple of off track excursions from Lowndes the tyres would have made those last couple of laps. Anyway made the last lap pretty exciting!

I think we can safely assume that Casey is the most talented rider within Ducati. Mika had the chance to ride the hotly disputed best Ducati (Casey's) and didn't impress me one bit, Please Casey come back stronger and fitter then ever - we need a red bike up front with the Yamaha show. :)

How long is Neukirchner out anyway? It seems like he was hurt ages ago. Who knows? He was originally out for a broken leg, had just come back and then hurt his spine in a testing accident. Not really a good year for Max, 2009.

Bored with motogp, that's just the good old rumour mill press at work again. Nobody knows what's really going on except Stoner and his closest family members I'm guessing. Stoner hates the attention of the press at race weekends so would be loving it being out of the spotlight at the moment, keeping out of the media is fuelling a bunch of theories to drum up business. Stoner is probably drinking beer, branding cattle and chilling out when he's not laughing at all the rumours running around the paddock about him. He will be back in 2010 as fast as ever... :)

So much for Stoner being a useless rider and he only does as well as he does because of his bike and electronics. Kallio is 1.7 sec off pole of Lorenzo, there isn't a snow balls chance in hell that Stoner would be that far off. Kallio doesn't have any excuses either, he has been riding the Ducati long enough now and should only be better now he has the supposedly best Ducati out there. Well done to him though as he is the quickest Ducati out there..

He wanted to pack in early last season when he realised he wouldn't win it. Not saying it's a trend but I might take a punt on it...by Bag It Up. Do you like spilling bu11shit? He should have stopped the season early to have his wrist done but kept going to secure 2nd in the rider/constructors championships which he managed to secure both for Ducati. He then went on to test the carbonfibre frame before the end of the year before having his wrist surgery during the winter break. I would hardly call that the actions of a rider that just wants to give up when the chips are down. Every rider out there just wants to race, injured or not.

If money is that tight reduce the amount of rounds each year until things pick up again. Leave the rules alone, they never make a difference anyway and cost the teams money by having to adapt there bikes. One option would be by law make the BANKS that put us in this sh1thole sponsor some teams. Lets say HSBC and Barclays - 3 billion in six months.

Why go to Moto2? WSBK is better. Lets say he goes to Moto2 and sets the world on fire and wins the title in his first year, what options are there in MotoGP. Rookie means no factory rides except Suzuki, and who would bother with Suzuki after doing jack squat for years. Yamaha satellite bike would be his best bet But probably a line of riders around the block waiting for one of those. Ducati satellite team - would you put your MotoGP career on the line. Honda satellite team - Honda will never ever give you the bits you need to be competitive. Even if he does the rookie year he wont get a factory ride with Honda or Yamaha, not with the riders they have at the moment. Team mate to Stoner maybe

I wouldn't get too excited by Stoners pace, I am pretty sure he will fade midway through the race. My guess is that he is trying to pick up as many points as possible in the next couple of races and then looking forward to the summer break for some relaxation/downtime. His illness needs a lot of resting but that could also be a negative, these guys train relentlessly and a month off physical duties could have a big impact on his fitness for the second half of the season. Wishing him the best anyway and hoping he is 100% after the summer break..
