Thanks for that James, I was feeling a little low today but you just gave me a good laugh. Top 6, what a joker?

MotoGP cost cuts revealed?
2 agree.
1 disagrees.
What a joke? What's next? 10 litre fuel tanks, Honda CG 125 wheels and tyres, 5000rpm limit, weight penalties, high compression hubcaps, chain driven headlamps. Leave it alone before they completely screw it up.. WSBK will be the only thing worth watching soon.

Yamaha teams impressed by 'all new' M1.
4 agree.
damo - right on there. Even the boss of Yamaha Lin Jarvis and Davide Brivio said that the Yamaha 2008 was the best bike on the grid, they said that they only needed some more top speed. Rossi was offered a ride with Ducati for 2009, why turn that down if the Duc is the best bike on the grid - especially when he could ride for an Italian team and win the WC with 3 different makes of bike.

Kawasaki poised to quit MotoGP?
2 agree.
Ducati are only a small Italian company, if the world economy doesn't pick up quick I can't see them being able to run five bikes in 2009. They are supposedly meant to be giving factory support to all five bikes as well in 2009 - That Cannot Be Cheap To Run...

Ducati: Rossi, Bayliss duel unlikely.
This comparison at Qatar would prove nothing, on the other hand put both of them on a MotoGp 2008 Kawasaki(probably the worst MotoGp bike of all time)and let them thrash it out to see who is the best. This would be a better indication of rider, setup, etc..

Wright: Toseland will be top five in '09.
3 agree.
21 disagree.
Let's see how James does for the first half of 2009, this will be a good indicator of his speed. He will be basically on the same bike as Lorenzo until the summer break and then the factory team will end up with better parts for the last half of the year. I didn't mention same as Rossi's bike as I don't believe for a minute that Lorenzo gets the same equipment as Rossi.

Guintoli: Stoner understood something we didn't!
10 agree.
I feel sorry for Guinters, he was a good rider on the right day with the right bike setup. I think he deserves to be in MotoGp more than some of the other riders, unfortunately for him he didn't have the money to keep a seat in MotoGp. Good to get an honest answer from a Gp rider who has been there and done it, he acknowledges Stoner's talent. BUT what would Sylvain know, I'm sure there are a lot of armchair critics that will disagree with him.

Rossi gains ground at Rally GB.
1 agrees.
4 disagree.
damo - Rossi is no slouch behind the wheel of a WRC car but this just goes to show the talent these top WRC drivers have, they are 1st class drivers in some of the hardest conditions you can race in.

Top ten MotoGP stars: Casey Stoner [2].
7 agree.
1 disagrees.
I'm surprised he got 2nd, by reading posts here on Crash.net over the last year I thought the poor kid wasn't even going to make the top 10. Love him or hate him he is mighty quick and exciting to watch, beating your team mate by 229 points isn't too bad an effort with 3 DNF's thrown in. I am just hoping he will be a bit more consistent in 2009 and zip it when things are going bad. Let's see if any of the new 4 GP9 riders can master the Ducati.

RE: Stoner needs to get rid of that number 1 on his scooter, he ain't world champion anymore, that picture is probably from the archives of 6 months ago...

Hope Casey's rehab goes well, hoping he is close to 100% fit by the first race in 2009 and running up front with Rossi, Lorenzo, Pedrosa..
