I hate the idea of these 600cc 4 cyd " 250''s " ..... *cough World Super-sport ..... cough * bikes. If the strokers have to go, then a belting 450 single in a slim / light racing frame would be ideal. Take a GP 800cc [ in theory ] chop it in half, add a longer stroke. This would keep funding down and make more teams take part. ( Yes, I know you cant " chop and engine in half " it was said as a theory. If the case''s are already half made , the teams are half way there.)
