@Matthew Henry- The fact that Spies crashes were unforced means that Haga is beating him fair and square- Spies hardly ever crashed in AMA, he must be right on the limit to compete. Haga s crash today was due to extraneous circumstance.
Not saying anything against Spies, fair play to him for raising his game.

Haslam: Podium is credit to Stiggy team
1 agrees.
Haha cheesy photo of Leon with his monster energy drink
Perfect start to the year, good results right from the start. Leon almost always does better at the end of a season. If he were on a factory Honda with another few mph on the straights I think he could be a tile contender, maybe next year he will get a factory ride, he must be raising a few eyebrows (pun intended).

Haslam 'over the moon' with podium on return
A lot of Haslam s critics were silenced by his results from the 2nd half of last year s BSB season. If he keeps this up I think we won t be hearing much more from them
. Leon needs good results at the start of the season, often he comes good towards the end of a season but leaves too much to do, these results are exactly what he needs. Go on Leon! (That took around 10 attempts to post, what is wrong with crash.net? Why not use vBulletin or something that works?)

Haslam 'over the moon' with podium on return
Why do I get "This comment contains invalid characters. Please correct and try again." every time I try and post something about motorcycle racing?

Good for Haslam. He needs to get some decent results at the start of the season.

Honda set for racing cuts, MotoGP safe.
Come on, Honda have sold bikes to privateers that have been used to great effect, because they make reliable affordable effective machines.

Bird furious as Croft future put in doubt.
Aargh what`s wrong with this country?
Who moves next to a race track and complains about the noise? Quick! Time to emigrate.

Top ten MotoGP stars: Colin Edwards [8].
1 agrees.
Edwards is unique in Moto GP. He doesn`t train. He brings a unique sense of humour. He is very knowledgeable of bike set up and tyre design. Maybe he should go back to WSBK. His style suits point and squirt better. I`ll probably always be glad to see him race in whatever series.

Top ten MotoGP stars: Dani Pedrosa [6].
4 agree.
1 disagrees.
He messed up at Germany trying to beat Stoner, I think he was psyched out. That meant he only finished 3rd in the championship when he should have at least been snapping at Rossi`s heels. So 6th is about right IMO. One thing I don`t understand- why is everyone so critical of his demands to switch to Bridgestone? And why were so many critical of Rossi for the same thing? If I had rubbish tyres on my mcycle I`d want to change them for some good ones. Why are bike racers judged unfavourably for this?

Wright: Shakey can win '09 WSBK title.
3 agree.
If everything gels then he`ll be in with a chance. Look at Sykes` and Haslam`s WSBK outings, they were up there and obviously Shakey has done better than them in BSB.
