MotoGP » Casey Stoner to test for Ducati?

brettbrg500: Copied straight from the article incase anyone missed it : Ducati have not won a MotoGP race since Stoner's departure. I would love to see him back at Ducati in any capacity, how incredible would it be to see him on the grid for at least a wildcard race.
You do know Stoner won his championships on 800cc motorbikes.
He won 5 races l think On the RC213v? 1000cc bike, l fail to see the bigger capacity bike being a problem at all. The fact he won his championships on 800cc bikes doesnt discredit him whatsoever. Laguna Seca against Lorenzo, Phillip Island domination (Stoner Corner powerslides!)

MotoGP » Australian MotoGP - Qualifying times

I know Loris and Suzuki for that matter are not really on there A game but a interesting fact and comparrison to Loris's time is that Wayne Gardner held the lap record around Phillip Island for many years from the 1989 GP l think with a time of 1.34, thats 21 years ago !. 500cc 2 stroke with no electronic aids and tyres that where probably no better than todays street bike tyres. Im not sure what conclusion can be made from this but it is interesting.
