MotoGP » Official: Jorge Lorenzo joins Ducati

This is good news for all of us. It will lay to rest with the Vale H@.rdcore that Jorge is only a winner on Vales bike, even when Vale wasn't there. Jorge's public announcement I think has been made now as JL is in front of Grandad in the points as so hopefully Yamaha will still aid him on his title challenge rather than leaving him as the ginger stepchild, sorry Bradley Smith!! We get more rivalry again. This promotes interest in the outcome of each race. The fact that front end losses can happen when you push 1% too hard will make for serious races when this season carries on and the points start to become VERY critical. Jorge will get wins on that bike as his old chum Casey is leading the development with engineers that are listening to him. I wish him well.

MotoGP » Jorge Lorenzo to leave Yamaha

Realist, Jorge is the only threat to MM dominance. He's still young so has the fitness and more importantly the ability to focus for an entire race. Vale has ability but the sands of time have taken his FULL focus away. You're correct on what you say about Vale nearly won last year. Apart from leading with a win in the first race that made all the young pups trip over their own feet to chase him, luck was the major reason he stayed in front and why over the Championship distance the laws of average score meant that Jorge clawed back the deficit. The Ducati that Jorge will tame is NOT the sl@g that Vale had. Comparing the two is wrong and I'm sure Casey's words to Jorge about what the beast REALLY is made the decision easier. This could be real trouble even for MM if Jorge works well with this.

MotoGP » VIDEO: Marc Marquez named 'Rider of the Year'

@realist. You put a nice sugar topping on Vale's year. Here comes the mirrored viewpoint (this is no attack on yourself from me either!)- 'Vale was the last rider out of only four bikes capable of wining the championship.' He was a real forth as the other three had left him and the three behind him had flashes but no real consistency. This is now the Marc and Jorge show with Vale becoming the 'yardstick' for the New blood to set their sights on. Dorna are wringing as much cash and interest from Vale. Don't expect much from him next year as Vale knows Jorge has his number.-

MotoGP » Rossi, Burgess discuss shock 2014 split

Well, well, well. The great Mohammed Ali is to step into the ring again next year after sacking his manager wife. Turns out the wife told George Foreman and Ken Norton that Cassius has been a bit slack in the training dept..... Ali was furious that the wife had been whispering to The rookie Marc Marqy Holmes that a whuppin' would happen if the two faced each other next season. Cassius Ali Clayossi has convinced himself that the wife is to blame for his ring losses. Long live the New King.

MotoGP » New Motegi MotoGP schedule announced

Safety is everything. I wouldn't want my company logo plastered all over the rider snapped into 3 and left on the tarmac with no helicopters to pick them up and remove them from people's short term memory. The world news would jump on this the same way they jump on the 'ban boxing' bandwagon. Just hand the rookie the championship strap now rather than Valencia.

MotoGP » Schwantz: Only Lorenzo can halt Marquez

I 've been away from this site for a while and yet it's still the same old "Vale COULD win......." No he can't. A race, maybe. Another Championship, never. Why do some still refuse to accept what they're seeing? My guess is that you don't watch the other two races before the big boys race and so didn't see Marquez the wonderboy whup his way to the top. Marquez to be crowned king this year.
