As Steve Parish says "The BBC want the technical contact patch as big as a credit card" (Repeat until mindless)
Cox replied "Thats right Steve, the Beeb have ridden MotoGp into the groung like Tonto!" (Repeat in an emotionally charged growl until mindless)
Suzi P "OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHhhhh Colin(Edwards)! Touch me, lick me, you KNOW you want me" Repeat until she's so desperate she appears naked...............

Tyre 'mistake' ends Rossi's Mugello dream.
1 disagrees.
Morgue, you need to go look at the spec of that "R1" dressed up as an "M1" that Biaggi rode back then when he was against the perceived best machine going in the Honda. That piece of poop that Biaggi rode was a total mule dressed as a thorough-bred. And he won on it. If Biaggi couldn't/can't develop a bike, why did Aprilia decide to re-invent him this year as development rider?

Tyre 'mistake' ends Rossi's Mugello dream.
Did you not see Casey "Undertake" Capirossi coming into a corner at the weekend then Rossifumi? Or the bouncing front end of max grip he was riding to defend his lead? Watching your favourite rider "stalk" and overtake someone is just sheer bliss as you say. When the shoes on the other foot and your man is getting the "treatment" (as he probably deserves, but thats just a point of view) then it's a stinker. I would like to blame that guy from Bridgestone. He wasn't going to ride the bike, or set it up. Thats Vale/Burgess job. As from today, we shall call that Bridgestone man "Patsy". Why didn't he hand out his knowlege to the other riders? 3 men in the fight.. TOP ENTERTAINMENT!!!

Stoner’s toughest test

that leads to another point about BBC comentry. The Aussie shout alot guy was saying that the "Lorenzo land" part was a bit ugly and shouldn't be done. When it's just as ugly (in my oppinion) as the sandpit antics of Valentino. Anyway mate, lunch over and back to the grind. Later Dray.

ok Dray. He's still in the fight. That part I have never disputed. If we are to throw muck, then he's not won a race this year...yet. The point I was making Dray, is that Superman IS IN HIS FINAL YEARS. You have to accept this. The beauty of this for you (The Vale fan) is that the highs and lows will become higher and lower. Ask any Biaggi fan. But then the emotional bond that causes this pain for you will also leave you flying high when everything goes well. Just enjoy the last years of Valentino rather than complain about the failings of his successors

Superman never dies. Just some other guy comes along and wears the red pants. Valentino will be fortunate when he hangs up his leathers in the fact he will never be forgotten.

Stoner’s toughest test

jokes, or laughed and sung for the cameras. To this day most people forget Holmes. They do this because they never wanted to see anyone take their beloved one off their screens. To end this? Well, Lennox Lewis the last great Heavyweight of our era was asked "How would you fare in a fight with Ali?" to which he replied "He would hit the floor with my first punch as he is a very old man now!" He was JOKING. The point being is that Valentino can't go on forever. The taker of his crown is in the mix somewhere between 1st-4th in this years championship. This is why some will never let go of the past and accept that the future is now. Valentino is not over yet by any means, it's coming.......

Stoner’s toughest test

The problem here is the same as Heavyweight boxing during the Casius/Ali years. At that time there was a very clever, wity guy who had lots of fans everywhere and competed in a sport where people die every now and then, just like bikes. we all love a good car crash, you can't stop yourself watching one! Wity man had his time and pulled a few real Rabbits out his bottom to cement his status. Then, old Father time came along and made life real hard for wity man. The thrill of the sport made him stay until his successor (Larry Holmes)came along and had to beat wity man to a pulp in an unfair contest. Wity man fans NEVER accepted the new man. He was strong and gifted but never told

Japanese MotoGP - Friday practice times.
I'm glad that Valentino topped the charts for once. This will get the forum heaving with anticipation. But, as Codger reminded us, it's just day one. The times were nice and close. If no practice sessions at any track were allowed until race day and the results are close then the answer is no tests. Ban the testing on track and keep it to the non series tracks to test parts etc. This would keep the logistic costs down and save the team money. If we get better races from it then great all round. When Q time starts tomorrow and a certain two are at the front it will be business as usual.

Valentino Rossi hoping to ‘put up more of a fight’.
I'm hoping for Valentino to win this one, after a good fight upto the chequered flag. That would be the ideal as a good bit of racing followed by a tie on the points would null the results of the first two races. If Casey sweeps all the q times then we know what will be coming....... No talk on this forum as the hidden Valentino boys will just throw up some tripe about Casey being the Tc kid again. For once I really, really need Valentino to win. The problem will be if he doesn't. It won't be game over by any means, it'll just get harder.

Stoner: No problems at all.

if Casey can win on another bike. Until then you can only draw on his previous with a satelite Honda that he did REMARKABLY well with. History is important as it shows that the top flight boys have their day in this game and then although they still have it in themselves the results they get don't always argue the case. That was the point I was trying to make with "Is Valentino the new Biaggi?". Max is a gifted rider that still has "it".. Just not at this level anymore it appeared. The look Valentino gave after Qatar was the same "look" that Max pulled knowing he'd given EVERYTHING to keep up with Valentino, and he always got pipped. No disrespect to Valentino at all.
