As Steve Parish says "The BBC want the technical contact patch as big as a credit card" (Repeat until mindless)

Cox replied "Thats right Steve, the Beeb have ridden MotoGp into the groung like Tonto!" (Repeat in an emotionally charged growl until mindless)

Suzi P "OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHhhhh Colin(Edwards)! Touch me, lick me, you KNOW you want me" Repeat until she's so desperate she appears naked...............

Des, you're a bit lacking in the argument. One of the reasons why Casey has to be taken sooooo seriously is the fact that no other "Decent" rider can get the results on the Ducati. Canepa (test rider) said that too much TC will lead to a slow lap time. Canepa has had lots of time on the Ducati and can't even get close to Stoners time. Thats why it has to be Casey's input. When or if Casey falls out with Ducati demanding that they stop listening to him and listen to themselves, like Honda did, takes his crew chief with him to another manufacturer that lets him and crew chief do as they please to replicate the Ducati(as Rossi/Burgess did with the M1) Then we MAY find out (cont)

Peace to you all, whatever side of the fence you're on. More importantly, it's just started with race one. Learn to talk to each other and the hatred will die down.

is a hard man to beat. You have to beat him and not just "luck" a couple of wins. Valentino knows this year is going to be real hard. This could be the bonus for us the fans as we WILL GET TO SEE THE GREATEST riders FLAT OUT. The pity is that NEITHER Casey or Valentino can afford to give each other an inch as any points loss to each other could become far too crucial and raise the pressure for each to unbelievable levels. So neither will slow down to let the other catch up and more "Gripping" races that have to be watched in real time for the true emotional overload that us the armchair fan needs. Watching a recording of the kind of race we saw monday doesn't seem to have the same impact.

LAnski, nice to hear some words of wisdom and some points to discuss rather than the mudslinging of "my man should've won" and so thats means "Your mans a Knob". The problem after the 1st race is that the man with the form from testing and previous on this track won again. Rather than Valentino pulling a Rabbit out of the hat which would've set this forum on fire. Morgue, I respect you for still wearing your yellow T-Shirt after the event as "Jimmy" and "Nigel" threatened to get theirs out of the wardrobe for first race and because the result didn't go the way they needed, we won't hear from them until Valentino beats Casey. It won't be long because as pointed out by LAnski, Valentino

hotrijder7, thats a good idea with the points system. The only downside is that at seasons end Casey and Valentino will be at least 100 points each infront of the rest. Then the records will show that the others shouldn't have even bothered starting! It's gonna be the Valentino/Casey show all year as these two are the only ones good enough to take the battle to each other.

A "gripping" race was what we witnessed. More a Chess match. Casey gets the first corner and we know he's gonna try and bolt it, 'cos thats what he does. Valentino seemed to struggle in the first couple of laps and EVEN got overtaken :-o. We all thought then that the race was over as Casey was flying. Valentino gets to second and starts to reel him in. Looking better now...Could be a fight coming....Casey holds Valentino's pace for a couple... Then stabs him to death without the front folding as that was then the only chance for anyone. The above is pretty much the recipe for the Valentino years. Is this the start of the new era? Valentino the new Max Biaggi?

Max picked up 20 places from both races. Thats gotta be the highest overtaking score for the weekend. I know he started 18th and Nori or Ben would've scalped as many too. A pity that he started from so far back but there were alot of respected racers infront of him.

Hey Raw Dawg, you need to chill about the decision to call a rear shock "W. power" as it was named after the colour of the spring as pointed out by another poster. What if he'd used a conventional B coloured spring and called it "B.power"? Would that have been more correct? I'm sure it was never meant as some racist slur mate............ Unless the w.power was brought to you in partnership with the North American Rifle association. The B.power would come with a 21st anniversary of the Public Enemy classic "It takes a nation of millions to hold us back" Compact disc. The above is a little joke and not meant as anything other than. :p

Raw Dawg, I'm not having a "go" at you in the slightest mate. Hopper did impress me by not doing what Spies ended up with, Ie, chasing the leader to throw it in the hedge first corner. Hopper has come from the pinnacle of racing (Gp's) and found out that the guys in this series aren't total losers that he was anticipating to blow away in the first race. Apart from Max B coming in and winning his first race since he stepped down from from Gp (remember that he did ALL pre-season and Qatar is a smooth flow circuit) no-one else has come straight in and won. It's a tough series with tough riders and he was shouting about how many wins and podiums he would get. Max had to overtake John to get 8th.
