As Steve Parish says "The BBC want the technical contact patch as big as a credit card" (Repeat until mindless)

Cox replied "Thats right Steve, the Beeb have ridden MotoGp into the groung like Tonto!" (Repeat in an emotionally charged growl until mindless)

Suzi P "OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHhhhh Colin(Edwards)! Touch me, lick me, you KNOW you want me" Repeat until she's so desperate she appears naked...............

What a cracking result for Nori! What a difference a day can make to the Championship. So Chill out Spies hardcore boys. You know that next round will be totally different. Max Biaggi, made up ten places from his start place BUT SHOULDN'T have been in 18th. I couldn't believe when watching the first quali session that he was slipping down the order to pull a lame lap and get fisrt loser spot at 18th. All makes for a good season though. Raw Dawg, I love your faith in Hopper. We both know that he will NEVER repay your faith though. His mouth has been writing cheques his bottom can't cash for years. I will eat my shoe if proven wrong!!

Blue Hurricane, could you imagine if Tiger Toni joined the fight and where Casey and Valetino were so concerned with their own fight (Rainey and Schwantz?) they finish 5th and 6th?! Now that would be worth the comeback fights and falls and make a good display for ALL the people here. ALL of them. The fanboys would be screaming at each other and the race watchers would be happy too. Imagine the fans of the perceived "No hopers" on this forum had a chance to air their views too!!! It would be a hotbed of cyber freindship.....GASP!

Jason, very interesting point from yourself about working on the electronics to reduce lift on corner exit. The other plus side to this is maybe some will forget that electronics make this whole package as a few feel the Duke is controlled by a huge monster overclocked processor and all the other bikes have the "Commodore Vic20" beating at the heart of the traction control system. Anyway, glad to see some Banter between people and not too much Venom. The Venom spitting will happen after first race and crash are hoping for this as web hits! :p

You're right with the Mental strength bit "Dirt". BUT, that strength wanes when you have got to the top and Valentino's lack of "Yes men" have kept him with his feet on the ground. Is Valentino driven by a desire to beat all and sundry, probably yes like all the big boys in this game. They all want to see their names in lights. It's the desire of the young Hounds and how they use the powerful energy of defeat and focus it into drive and destruction that will tell. Does Valentino want another REAL hard start to what could be a REAL hard year? Casey does, and is just doing his usual "stamp on them all in testing" But none of us know what they were testing and all parties cld be sanbagging.

Matt Mladdin is a VERY wise man. I would happily stay in USA to race for a good few million Dollars and STILL be home for tea with the wife and kids on most race weekends. It's becuase he gave them all a good kicking on a good machine. If he held back and did a Valentino to steal the win on the last lap all the nay sayers here would just jump up and down claiming he should "Whup 'em proper" on that "Works" Gsxr. The guy can't win because he has never faced the God of two wheels in Valentino to either bring the fight(and get condemned) or run mid pack(and get condemned) by certain fans. Matt is a smart man with a loaded trophy cabinet and a cracking bank balance. Top bloke

I think you mssed Damo's point Baja. I think what he meant was that the style of "Sideways for no other reason than being sideways" like some re-make of "Torque" or "Two fast 2 furious, Tokyo drift" would send most riders backwards like it did to Hayden. I don't think that he was kissing Nick's rear :p

What a cracking bit of news! At least the followers for so long who understand the "emotional" bond that we feel towards this sport with the TOP DRAWER commentry will be rewarded again with another cracking season. There is nothing wrong with the BBC coverage if watched in MUTE mode, you only got half the show. British Eurosport were guaranteed another years viewing from me with the WsbK anyway, this just tops it! Ace, Ace and just ACE

Exactly R.I.P, thats the problem all the way through the "Debates" that kick off here. Until Casey AND Valentino are on the same team with no team orders and the same engineering crew, the variable's, skill AND LUCK will decide the winner. I want to see a good clean fight between ANY of them. If the fight is down to two riders then it's ok. Better if there is more, but can't be helped sometime. If the season is full of 1 winner (Who cares who it is) then it will be a poor season. I fear that Casey could be sidelined and if that happens then the top drawer fight will become a no-brainer and be just counting down to seasons end to hand out the prize. I really hope I'm wrong..

Ps R.I.P, if you look at the career of Mick and Valentino, the common is Burgess. Valentino's record at top flight is with Burgess at the helm. Is Jerry the true Champ?

The big reserve for Casey this year is what is really going on at the tests with just a handful of balistic laps? Is it that he's toying with the others and keeping the wrist as the reserve for race results OR that 5 laps flat out is all he can handle until he breaks his teeth chomping on the wooden spoon to control the pain? If Casey cant do a full race, he will become shark bait and leave the game early like alot of true champs before their time is due. To all the stone throwers who dismiss Casey as a one Champ Pony, look at the last two seasons Valentino didn't win and he was still NEAR the top. Valentino wasn't washed up and neither is Stoner. Bring on the track fight!
