MotoGP » Rate the 2012 Portuguese MotoGP!

@Zorro and unfinished stories. You two will be banging your head against a brick wall trying to explain why the race was a "gripping" classic. Some people only see the colour of the bike and their favourite rider. When "Fave" fails then it was a terrible boring shutout unless there was a Chimpanzee knife fight in the gravel at turn 1 to stop them having to marvel at 3 men circulating 100% at .001 of a second of a 1.40 lap from each other. A classic of an opera was witnessed unless you wanted handstands on the podium.

MotoGP » Pedrosa from Rossi in wet second session

It's only first day and a wet one at that. It would be nice for the Vale massive if todays times are tomorrows Q times. It's early days and I hope that this weekend is good for all of you as I need to read some good banter next week and if any rider romps it then it becomes a cold place with no conversation. Keep up the good exchange of humour and MILD (not serious) insults with each other. Hoped result(wet race) - Hayden-Crutchlow-Danni-Casey-Jorge Expected result(wet race) Danni-Casey-Jorge-Dovi-Spies. Have a good weekend and enjoy the races!

MotoGP » Poll: Can the Rossi/Ducati partnership work?

On a more serious note. This is the weekend that he HAS to perform. As much as he's no favourite of mine in the cartwheeling, camera kissin' style that some need to see, this is "do or die" weekend. Last outing I put down to a bad day at the office and last year you could forget. As Dr.Thompson says himself last year was an epic fail for Vale. I want to see riders fighting for the front and don't really care who's in the fight as long as it's clean with no "prison rules" racing. If this weekend is another epic fail(Cheers Dr.Thompson) then the only thing I can draw from it is he has had enough of the circus. If the Show ponies fail to show, they're just nags..

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi 'suffering' but won’t leave Ducati

@Cute, me old jousting partner! If I had to be either of the two riders that you name. It would have to be Stoner. Reasons. No1. Younger and STILL fighting. No2. Rich enough to never have to work again No3. Married and a Daughter. Happily Married with a young child is the making of the man. Add that people wont recognise him or bother hime when he leaves this game and Casey will have it all.... Unless the lack of Ego stroking leads to drinking and wife beating like most top athletes:)

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi lashes out after Qatar nightmare

@Liam, I wasn't mudslinging. I just meant that if he finished 4th then he would only have half the posts!! @Cute (the next part re-written due to reply being deleted by Crash) Sponsors bring the money to bring the ride. The riders don't care. Proof is a certain Italian saying "no smokes" on my gear and then appearing in Camel Yellow. Just becuase you smile in the right places doesn't mean you're enjoying yourself. Very few of these riders enjoy having to lose their free time at shows and corporate get-togethers.

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi lashes out after Qatar nightmare

I do know what racing means to me. If i'm competeting then it's my competition that I'm in. This is Motogp and I'm NOT IN IT. I'm an observer of the action. I watch the ego warriors battle each other and watch certain sorts drown in their own exitement brought on with being high on adrenalin and their alter-ego coming to the party. I enjoy the racing for the racing. I don't care that Casey has big teeth and to some he moans about real issues. I don't care that Jorge to some looks like he's reading an autocue worse than Danni does. This is a job that they get paid highly for AND they have to put up with being filmed while doing it. Some love the attention and some just want to win the race they're in on that given sunday.

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi lashes out after Qatar nightmare

@Cute. I don't understand what your point is then. Are you saying that anyone who isn't Champ at seasons end is the loser? There is going to be 20 losers at seasons end 2012. That will include race winners, podium finishers and ex-champs too. I'm not a Stoner fan boy and certainly not a Vale posse massive either. I watch riders compete and have stated in the past that if the pinnicle of racing is round multi-storey car parks with pedal trikes and 3 drops of "3 in one oil" to spice the racing in a wacky races stylee then thats what I will be watching.
